Biogas is future of India. Benefits are 1. Cleaner cities. Less sewage if biogas is made mandatory like rain water harvesting. 2. Biogas can be compressed and sold or it can used to generate electricity 3. The slury can replace fertilizers in fields. But no govt will do it as it will be dangerous to the corporate who are involved in these business.

No. Biogas requires a lot of water, and its production is VERY slow that is why it is only used on a domestic level. Trying to sell it in cylinders will only result in loss. One can develop infrastructure to provide water but the cost is much higher than the cost of simply providing LPG. India has a shortage of both water and funds, so your comment is very wrong

आप ने कहा 50रूपये कौन खर्च करेगा एक दिन के चुल्हे जलाने के लिए पर यही 50रूपये एक अॉटो वाला जो सीएनजी पर खर्च से सस्ता काफी है वर्तमान मे कही ये गैस सौ रूपये है कुछ छोटे शहर गांवो के बाहर डीजल वाले टेम्पो अॉटो रिक्शा चलते है ये उन लोगो को फायदा सीधे तौर पर पहुंचा सकता है, प्लांट हर घर मे लगाने के बजाये एक जगह प्लांट लगाया जाये तो काफी लोगो को रोजगार और किसानो के लिए जैविक खाद बनायी जा सकती है उसी प्लांट से बिजली भी बने तो जहां बिजली 12-14 घंटे ही रहती है वहां 24 घंटे बिजली रह सकती है सिटी की तरह बायोगैस गोबर गैस भारत मे फ्लाप नही हुआ है इसमे को कुछ बदलाव के साथ दोबारा पेश किया जाये तो ये काफी सारी समस्याओ का समाधान बन सकता है|

मै मुंबई में रहता हु ओर गए १० वर्ष Bio Gas का उपयोग कर रहा हु. इसमें गोबर सिर्फ़ शुरुआत में लगता है। घर का kitchen waste का उपयोग होता हय। मेरे घरक़े बग़लमे आटा पिसने की चक्की है। वहाँ से नीचे गिरा हुआ आटा हपते में एक बार लता हूँ। वह सात दिन चलाता हूँ। मेरे अनुभव से कहूँगा की देशमे जितनी चक्की है उतने घर की रसोई bio gas से आसानिसे चलेगी। हां मैं साथ साथ सोलर cooker का भी उपयोग करता हूँ। १०००लिटर का digester our box type सोलर cooker के उपयोग से अन्य fuel से मूक्त हो सकते है।

This is half truth. Biogas failed in India because of badly designed digesters, untrained operators, not resolving operational issues, unskilled people to take care of plant, not handling the slurry fertilizer to use in farms. I m from Uttarakhan We Are using Biogas for almost 15 yrs ...there are 6 members in my family and from the last 15 years we are having 2 Cows still enough gas is produced that we can even cook our cattle Meal in it....we hardly use 1 LPG cylinder in a year that too in Winter season because Fermentation Requires High Temperature....The Manufacturing Cost of Biogas Plant at present is Hardly 20-25k that too is subsidised ...no mantainance is required hardly faced any problem yet...no Odour at all....requires less than 600sq ft area to built a plant...

Main reason is co2+ ch4 mixture , co2 reduction by passing the gas through lime water is to be used . The resultant gas will be more inflable . Biogas digesters using community gutters and supplying piped gas to households mixed with 50% lpg is a viable option . It can be made mandatory for all residential flat construction companies.

The only problem with bio or gobar gas in India is it's efficiency e g LPG burner efficiency is 60-65% whereas biogas burner efficiency is 40-45% which is not much higher related to LPG and it's costlier also and other minor problem like climatic condition because for fermentation (which takes place in the presence of some microorganisms) we need to maintain certain temperature and pressure so that microorganisms can work properly. But in winter it become slightly difficult but these are miner problems and it can be tackled. So to maintain these things we have to spent some money on maintenance so Ultimately cost will increase. So if we want to increase the usage of biogas in India we have to work on two parameter : 1. On it's efficiency 2. Making it cost effective

Sir. While putting mud paint outside the pot to get rid of side effects of carbon on pot,we must dry the mud paint for some time . Second precautions,when you are using old trye for collection of gas ,don't fill upto neck. Third precautions in winter .You don't get bio gas .We can add decomposer or sugar can left over collection from sugarcane juice seller or gud and mutter besen for fermentation. Hope you will put all effort to make it more popular. Aap ka mangal ho. Namh shivay.

As per I have seen in my town, gobar gas had drawback. It causes rust in inverted tank, which hold gas. So life of that plant was short. People lost interest because of that. Also it is labour intensive. It should be made efficient, which require less work.

We should focus on solar energy more than bio mass energy. Farmer one is quite complicated and needs regular maintenance and it has limited uses. While in solar we can use anywhere.. That's why it is better to focus on solar not so much on biogas

Bro. Ultimately everything is solar only. Where did energy of biogas come from? People and animals eat food produced by plants from solar energy. We don't use all chemical energy available in food. That remaining energy is only being extracted in biogas. Also, the nutrients in the biogas slurry can substitute fertilizer. Our country imports fertilizers. We can reduce that. Ultimately, it is a circular economy. Plants use nutrients of fertilizer to grow. Animals and humans eat plants and excrete out the same chemicals. So, we should extract that and reuse this.

we also had a gober gas at my home, since 2001 to 2008. it was very good and usefull. Govt need to shift focus to bio gas, the amount of carbonic waste produced in city areas is sufficient for production level. but govt won't shift mind to there, as corporates are involved in production of lpg

akshay_D3athGoD ज्यादा गैस के लिये सब्सट्रेट अच्छा होना चाहिए नाली के पानी में अनएरोबिक डाइजेशन के लिये अनुकूल परिस्थितियां नहीं होती सब्सट्रेट भी सही नही होता इसलिये मीथेन कम और सल्फर गैस ज्यादा बनती है इससे चूल्हा ठीक से जलेगा नहीं नाली गैस कामचलाऊ विकल्प हो सकता है पर ये व्यवहारिक नहीं है इससे नियमित और सुनिश्चित गैस सप्लाई नहीं मिलेगी तुम्हें नाली गैस लगवाना हो तो लगवा सकते हो मैं नहीं रोकूंगा बस जानकारी सही हो

मैं बिहार से हु ।मेरे गाँव मे छोटे किसान के पास प्लांट के लिये जमीन नही है।उनके पास मवेशी रखने के भी पर्याप्त जगह नही हैं।जबकि बड़े किसान के पास जगह हैं कुछ लोगो ने प्लांट बनाया और कुछ ही दिनों में ऊब गए ।वे मेहनत समय लगाना नही चाहते हैं।
