I would just park at lot 60 or the Village. Never bothered much with the garage unless it was before 9am or after 1pm.

its pretty much a commuter school, either that or everyone goes home on the weekends. Its basically a large, windy, community college with frats

You forgot to mention the buses. Theres no fucking rhythm to it. You either get 3 at a time at one stop or you are waiting 35 minutes for one to appear only for it to be an all campus G bus that will take so long to get you to your destination you'd be better off walking in the freezing wind with the geese. Oh and I don't know where they hire these bus drivers from but they have got to be the most aggressively miserable low-life group of jerks I've ever come into contact with that will snap at you for asking a simple polite question like "hey, will this take me to the transit deck?" they've also been known to skip stops, whether this is on purpose or accident I don't know but Id honestly believe either. There was one cool Spanish lady bus driver who drove the small 10 seater, she was so sweet and funny!... but i think she left to find another job, see that.. the only nice one LEFT to get another job...what does that tell you? Montclair sucks, the only way alumni is going to matter is if you intent to live and work the rest of your life in the north jersey metropolitan area. I went there for 2 years then transfered because the school was/is a sh*t-hole. While there I met all kinds of people, lived in multiple dorms, did multiple in-school activities. I was no stranger to campus life. So If you want to know anything about the school just reply, I'll answer any questions and I'll tell you the truth, unlike the sugar coated version you'd get at orientation or from a student made youtube video.... Know before you go spend tens of thousands of dollars and the best years of your life at a place called montclair state university
