Hello Guys❤ Gobhi Chaap Recipe 👇🏻 -Cut cauliflower into big chunks -Boil the cauliflower florets in salted water for 3-5 mins, then drain and keep aside -Heat some ghee and fry the cauliflower florets in ghee till golden -Take a big onion and cut it in thin slices and fry the sliced onions in ghee till golden brown -Grind the fried onions till smooth -Heat 1 tbsp ghee + 1 tbsp oil, add whole spices (cumin seeds, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, dry red chilli, bay leaf) -Add 1 tbsp ginger garlic green chillies paste and sauté till fragrant -Add the fried onions paste and sauté for 2-3 mins -Add salt as per taste, 1.5 tbsp coriander powder and 1.5 tsp cumin powder and sauté for 1-2 mins -Add 1/4th cup whisked yoghurt at low heat and mix well -Grind some soaked cashews(5-10) into fine paste and add this paste to the gravy -Add some water to adjust the consistency -Add fried cauliflower florets and cover and cook till cauliflower is soft -Garnish with some cream, garam masala and coriander leaves Enjoy this with some Pulao or Naan or Paratha ❤🤤

@@Lisaa6578 Fulkopi is same as Gobhi which is same as Cauliflower. There are different variations and names of a dish across different regions or cultures or even within a same community. And if I call this dish as ‘Fulkopir Roast’, will I get the validation from you or other Bengalis?? PS: am a bengali myself but I hate this stereotypical thinking. You might have seen or eaten this dish as Fulkopir roast but I have eaten this dish as Gobhi/Fulkopir chaap ❤️
