Key highlights on how to use this deck
- Sappers opening play on their main tower, find out what spell they have, if they safe pilot, cheat death immediately
- Quilboar (Bristleback) to counter dark iron miner, if they try to protect it (which they can't) go in with sappers to try and punish them
- smoke bomb your opening sappers, if they have chain lightning they usually do it close to their tower. Second time you can do cheat death at about half way, you can bait out chain lightning
- If they have Blizzard in cycle only do smoke bomb to force it out, after you play sappers, immediately play smoke bomb, Kobold, plague farmer and 1 other unit, this will likely outcycle the Blizzard, next time you can Sappers + Cheat death
- Vs Baron, as per above tips
- Vs Maiev, they usually don't have a spell so everytime safe pilot you cheat death,
- Vs Rend Skeleton mages will chip Rend down and when it's within safe pilot crash range, use that to ground him, when he gets closer use Baron to counter, it's a bit trickier if they have dark iron miner as well since you need to use quilboar for that. But should definitely outcycle them easily
- Vs Murkeye, Smoke and cheat death as per needed, once all the murlocs converge at the bottleneck bridge, block with quilboar, clean up with safe and/or plague farmer

Great content, Mr. Brute. I don’t do pvp that much but I love videos like this. I am using sappers too but not with both Cheat Death and Smoke Bomb. Great idea…😂😂😂

Nice deck underused and underleved units. I like the anti meta builds. Dark iron miner and blizzard are everywhere. Fun to see the counters. If this deck becomes meta would like to see the counter lol.

I felt like the deck was soft to the huntress pushes since we're sacrificing so many slots for the sappers and their defense. One big deathball push would probably get us.

@@ZeroFate643 nah the bridge bottleneck gives a lot of value for plague and safe. Meta is dominated by spells, single lane death ball pushes don’t work on this map. The consistent pressure with sappers forces them to spend gold on defence it’s hard to build up big pushes. With no chests they can’t get things going as quickly and easily

I’ve been sending sappers to the side tower, and letting my ranged units push the right side.. they have to choose which side to defend

Looks like a fun deck to catch people off guard. I haven't played it yet, so not the expert, but it seems like this would struggle against a strong push that doesn't waste a bunch of resources on defending against the sappers. Just some simple defense as part of the push to force the smoke bomb / cheat death gold. Half of the deck is committed to the burn strat, so it just has less overall options to defend against an efficient push, while also spending its own gold on the sappers that only trade purely for tower damage.

Very good point you raised, this is a common concern if you run sappers as a win condition in any team - doesn’t work on bigger maps, but suitable for arathi basin - bottleneck bridge + baron skeleton mages provide efficient defence against most pushes - important to track opponent cycle and understand what their next move is to counter your sapper I am current just under 4000 honour with this team, for a lvl 7 team that’s one of my best results for any leader 😁

Hello, I have a quick question, can we use Hogger as the team leader instead of the Baron? My understanding is that Hogger is also a good option for the cycle team.

Hi there, it’s not ideal to use hogger because you want everything in your deck to support the hogger. Hogger is the win condition, sappers are also win condition it will conflict with each other. Hope this makes sense

So I don't have the fast trait I have the one that gives me three sappers but I also have the increased movement speed on cloak so I'm wondering if that would work. If I can connect with three sappers that should definitely do a lot more than two.

That should still work, in some games it’s going to be more favourable if they don’t have the right counters, but if they do have the counters then it may be slightly harder to out cycle them

Pure cancer build. Got me from 2k to 2.9k in an hour...btw I realized that whenever you lose the side tower, it's lost, but I didn't lose very often. I just need to be better in protecting it.

Yeah side tower is critical, most people don’t go for it. At even levels sappers should basically take it back for you immediately though

I disagree with you this time ... i think This game need a COMPLETE rework from pvp to pve. until they implement dailies like on HS or WoW where you can farm gold there is no point in playing. this game is missing a reason... if I don't have a reason to play because I have no prize to aspire to, why am I playing? you have to give the players a purpose and at the moment there is none in PVE or PVP. the PvP rewards are scandalous, not to mention the fact that there was no reset between seasons 1 and 2 🤦... players need farming....grinds and reasons to stay glued every day.. . but I say if you don't do these things on a mobile game which is the excellence to exploit every good moment to do something in a game always at hand... where do you do it? I'm a player who deserves a game he spends money on it.. but here there's no point in even spending... they wanted to come up with a totally incomplete game and unfortunately as much as I love it, they really make themselves hated.

Thanks for watching and commenting, I am genuinely confused 1. I don’t really get all the noise about the ‘current’ state pvp is in, so you ll have to explain what this state is. As far as I am concerned it’s the same as last week and the week before 😁 2. Whatever this state is, why is it lame to promote this deck? I am legit going against top meta decks like Jaina execute. Isn’t one of the biggest meta issues everyone using the same units and decks? Here I am trying new builds 3. Instead what’s an example of a deck that’s not lame?
