My unpopular opinion is that the Belmonts are actually super hype to watch. Unlike most zoners, I feel like they're constantly pressuring you and playing aggressive to back you into the corner, whereas most other zoners just run to the other side of the stage and throw projectiles

i think the belmonts have a real dichotomy between when they are cool and when they are kinda boring. Like when its just constant zoning pressure with their projectiles and whip its ehhhh, but when its like multihit setups that combo together i think they are sooooo hype

I main Richter and take no offense hearing they can be boring to watch. Playing them is a different story though. Understanding their flow chart and mastering angling the whip is so fun and rewarding.
