I took a jar and put moss in it, rocks on the bottom, dirt in the middle and moss of the top! I have a pray bottle for water and put it all in a old (clean) pickle jar. I am leaving the top off for a little but and after two-four days I'mma put the top on and see if it goes well. And I doing it right?

i started a moss terrarium a couple weeks ago and the first few days i SEVERELY over watered it (i am himbo) and the moss is brown now, i removed the extra water n had the lid off for awhile. i have no idea what to do n ive considered just starting a new one and putting the brown moss back outside. normally id just google this but im dum lol

Andria Kirk it's just food colouring, so it should be safe. People who temporarily colour their pet's fur typically also use food colouring or some kind of fruit juice. If you wanna be extra safe, there are all natural food colourings out there, which is pretty much just vegetable concentrates, like carrots, beets etc. Those are of course absolutely sure to be safe, since snails would eat those things normally anyway.
