Welcome to Bar0n's Den for Season 6 of the Blood Bowl ladder! I've decided to have a bit of a laugh this 'Stunty Season' by taking the Goblins into the season 6 ladder. Introducing the 'Crooked Moon Marauders!' Whilst first playing goblins all the way back in the 90s, I have only ever played them for fun and have never played them competitively so I've decided to not take it too seriously and have fun with all the positionals.
I've only got myself to blame for this one! 🤦‍♂️
After things had gone so bad with dice you'd think I'd learn my lesson and play more cautiously. Apparently not! A hastily thrown goblin early on pretty much sets the tone for the rest of the match! Who wins? Watch to find out!

If you're looking to play Goblins in the future after this 10-game series, let me know. I can offer some pointers. Things like general strategy and what should work vs what traps to avoid. Although, I'm still learning myself, but I have a decent amount of games in during this Season.

Im always humble enough to take any strategies going. Although I do know my two main problems. 1) sticking with non-optimal positionals because I like them. 2) being too reckless with my placement of goblins and with risky plays. If I wanted to try them more competitively then I will definitely do some more homework and come knocking. However with two games (losses most likely) left I’m going to just be even more reckless for the chaos it will hopefully cause as that’s what goblins should be about! 🤣

@@Bar0ns_Den Don't worry about being "too reckless" when it comes to Goblins. That's where the fun is! The important part is the order (of operations) in which you are reckless. The one tip I will give you is in regard to the Doom Diver or any other Goblin you plan to throw for a one-turn TD. Remember that the throw is measured from the Troll and not the Goblin/Diver. So, when you're setting up, place the Goblin/Diver in an adjacent square behind the Troll and not on the Line. If the Goblin/Diver is on the line, you increase the chance of having to use Rushes to get the ball to them. Also, if they're on the Line, they're likely in a Tackle Zone which makes the Hand-Off even more difficult.
