Our world teaches and tells us to accumulate material possessions for our personal happiness and enjoyment.However, despite many of us having more things, we often feel stressed and overwhelmed by anxiety and worry. Jesus explains that a blessed life is not one that is ruled by the love of money and possessions, but rather a love for God’s eternal kingdom. This is the antidote to anxiety and worry because everything we worry about is temporary, whereas what is eternal can never be taken away from us.
