God Chastens His Children | Joseph Larson | 2024 JSM Camp Meeting

GOD CHASTENS HIS CHILDREN- Chastening is the greatest proof that you are in the family. Today at Family Worship Center, Pastor Joseph Larson reads Hebrews 12:5-17 discussing how the believer must not despise the chastening and discipline of the Lord. When we allow sin in our lives to remain, and are without chastisement, the bible calls us bastards. Through our trials, we must have patience, and to our profit, we will be partakers of His holiness. Holiness can only be perfected through grace. God’s grace is not only His forgiveness, but it is power for us to pursue holiness. If we turn our backs on grace, and we willfully sin after receiving the knowledge of truth, then we lose our power source to obtain victory in this race of life. His yoke is easy and His burden is light. Christ came as a man and died on Calvary’s Cross as our representative, and by faith we are triumphant with Him. Brother Joseph reminds us, we need a faith that will endure; through chastening, God produces roots in us that we will grow strong, and we will understand it better by and by.

Brother Joesph, your message was awesome. Once, when I was receiving discipline from the Lord for a bad attitude, I broke under the power of His love for me. It was like he held me and let me cry it out all the while Letting me know of is great and mighty love. And Bro. Joesph, one can't put a price tag on anything of God.He is enough. The Cross is enough, and the blood is enough.Then I thought God's love started redemption's plan, and his blood finished it. Oh, how I love Jesus . Jesus loves you.
