I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today (November 1), Acts 12:1-11 was the basis for our Sunday School Lesson for the Day. It was entitled "Prayer Works!" The hymn, "Here, O Lord, Your Servants Gather," written by Tokuo Yamaguchi and translated by Everett M. Stowe, is a good hymn to compliment this Scripture, regardless of denomination.
