Moonlight Blade is absolutely insane

It's alright; easily one of the most powerful step arts if used right, but you've gotta use it carefully since it's not a typical step art - it's a Raging Moon. It's important to remember that the Raging Moon of Moonlight Blade *isn't* as strong as a normal Raging Moon. It's significantly weaker and can't be held as long, so it's not a replacement for actual Raging Moon on a downed enemy, and it pales in comparison to a full-charged, mashed-out Moonlit Dawn (I have literally killed R7 large aragami from full health with that) - though you need skills that let you charge faster to really use Moonlit Dawn. Personally, I prefer Blade Waltz or Supermoon, so I don't have to sacrifice the typical functionality of a step attack just to have a somewhat-easier-to-perform Raging Moon. I run Moonlit Dawn as my ground art, because I've got the charger AGAs on my gear and I love getting a knockdown and then slamming that into my enemy's face to end them.

Definitely going to be my go-to weapon when I get GE3. Though, it's a shame Apocalypse Axe gets rid of the cool, chainsaw-effect on the Raging Moon attack. It just looks so satisfying and visceral.

BK Brent Makes sense considering the attack is faster than the normal Raging Moon and is just a flat amount of single-hit damage instead of the ramping chainsaw.

Apocalypse axe is basically the entire chainsaw animation damage put into one strike You can literally pull 2 or 3 on a downed aragami and do a lot of damage Since the normal raging moon chainsaw action takes forever to get the full damage So yeah def go for apocalypse axe for best damage to time ratio efficiency

I like to keep each character focused on 2 weapon types max. It's weird but that's how I do it. Plus I need a female char too. I usually have a main who I build up over time and 2 or 3 others I keep weapon specific. I feel like it keeps the game fresh a little longer. -shrug- Also if I build up one character with all weapons from the start, then I don't have much of a reason to make new characters aside from gender.

i feel as if whatever the buster blade can do, the heavy moon and hammer can do better. the only thing that it has over them is that its a big sword. a big sword. hopefully when buster blades get guard cancel, it'll balance out.

Actually the sheer difference between heavy moon vs buster and hammer No stamina use whatsoever on both the raging moon and moon storm Whereas the buster's charge crush and parry upper, also the boost hammer's boost ignition, still uses stamina So heavy moon is useful to those who are very frugal with their stamina

Like bullet creation and how to really get the most out of it. How to create good builds with certain skills and how crafting upgrading and installing skills works outside of just some static buff screen

Tempest step for real isnt super armored as stated when actually testing it It instead has insanely high rate of op gain I got to full gauges in 2 or 3 tempest steps It also modifies it to be faster than the normal dash triangle Being as fast as the dash square Perfectly paired with the shotgun with auto buck bullets So regain op using tempest steps then switch to shotgun and fire away

Thanks for the video! I can never decide whether to use moonlit blade or apocalypse axe for my downed aragami move. Does it just depend on where their weak point is?

For downed, use Apocalypse. Fast charge time lets you land two hits on most downs.

Hell its party time! So is using moonlit dawn really worth? Like i think even a lvl 1 charge does more base dmg than a base moon storm but basically im trying to get the most dmg out of a moon storm build as possible. Like 15% more dmg with burst arts etc

i know this is an old vid but really inlove with this weapon since from GE1 to GE2 I always use Buster/Long/Scythe only, I mostly use twilight moon for ez stagger also ignore armor then when the enemy is down hit it with 2 to 3 apoc axe guaranteed something will break xD moonlit dawn is cool and all but very hard to use since after you charge 2 to 3 charges the aragamis already up and running :/

@@legendarydigitize2523 Rather than cheap, I would say raging moon is op overall. Also it's kinda hard to get the moonlight blade aimed when using it, so you need to master it. I prefer using moonlit dawn cuz the level 1 charge actually does lots of dmg when aimed right and you can get it charged to level 2 quickly with some abilities and hit a weak spot, then just look at the aragami crying for help in the ground. Instead of the moonlight blade I use supermoon ^^
