This is a really cool mechanic, i did think that devouring was a bit stale in it's old form. I like that this seems to accommodate different playstyles.

I agree, the vid maker didn't get into the modules u can add, that grant buffs that last the entire time your in burst as long as you sustain it, you can have 5 of these active at once, maybe more. But yeah, they really let you change up playstyles in various wonderful ways. The Burst type gun is also fun, it lets you store up to 1000 OP in reserve so you could use bullets that take more than a 150 op bar to use or spam a ton of other ones.

when i read the predator style i said to myself that you can use each one type of the moves. then it came to my mind that this game is a must buy. it is better than gods eater burst. i know that they both share the same storyline but the add-ons to the game are so worth it

Man Im salty they didn't keep predator styles in GE3... Sure they were kinda OP and youd be using them 90% of the time but they couldve still brought it back in some form.

So now that the game is here stateside, it turns out that Pearl Bird/Cornix (when coupled with some Devour OP absorption skills) can more or less fill your OP bar from empty up to 150 outright at the height of a jump. Food for thought . . .

While Quick/Combo/Step is a single group of moves, as I understand it they're still 3 separate commands on the controls, and you can have a different move set to each? Like say, can I have Seschorn on quick, Sturm on step, and Gale on combo?

+Iqro Persada Maulani Drunk huh . . . how different are the forward dashes between Drunk and Sturm? Seems kind of a waste to use a forward-mobility move on the combo command somehow. On the subject, what do you run on charge and air?

drunk: dash forward-devour-backstep, maybe in other words its a combination sturm+sechshorn sturm: no backstep after devouring i use sturm on step so i dont have to run all the way to chase aragami and devour them to get burst..just step and use that to "slide" then devour and slashing them..if i use drunk i'll backstep after devour and cant hit them.. and i use drunk on combo so when i see OP gauge is full i can devour after combo to get some burst and backstep to get away then run immediately as far as i can and shoot them..maybe you already know from my other vid, i'm sniper user..farther i shoot, more damage i can make.. why i use drunk instead of sechshorn if i just need that backstep after combo?? well, i need that dash forward feature too..sometimes when we doing combo, they start to run away, right?? so when they trying to run, i just use that drunk to "slide" and chase them..no need to stop combo and then use step+sturm.. for charge i use heaven's maw if i play solo so i can get lvl 3 burst, kinda hard to use because of its long time to charge..but if i play with party i usually use orca to heal everyone.. for air i just use raven..maybe on one mission i use air devour just once to get its control unit ability..so i dont need any "unnecessary" move for it..well, its all about playstyle..for those who love to slashing from air i think they wont use raven..haha.. i'm sorry, are you getting what i mean?? honestly, i'm confused to explain why i use those predator style.. maybe i used some wrong words+bad english and make you confused too.. haha X'D

+Iqro Persada Maulani Eh, it makes enough sense. So you put drunk in case they run away while you are still swinging your sword? But you still want to backstep afterwards because you usually use it to end combos. I guess that works. I generally sniped myself in GEB, I see the logic now. I do feel that Heaven's Maw having a long charge time isn't as big of a problem because if you can afford to charge at all they're generally standing still or eating something off of the ground. Unless you get status effects onto aragami it's kind of hard to ever use your charge form in combat. The English version needs to come out faster . . .

yup, glad you get what i mean.. haha.. well, you right..charge time isnt big prob if they keep staying somewhere and devour from behind, but as i try thats not work to arda nova, they always know whey you right behind them.. and because i'm playing solo only on hard mission (to challenge myself or there is an event on my group) maybe i can only use this charge devour at start of mission..whenever i lost my burst i hardly can use it again because the aragamis wont go back to eat (if the mission is at field where there is nowhere to eat, like at aegis or when fight with arius nova on last battle which i forgot what its field name), even when they down i still dont have enough time to complete charging before they wake up.. and dont forget that blitz hannibal, maybe when i devour them as they standing eating or do nothing, i still cant complete my devouring process because as they know they will hit me with that speed..maybe with other hannibal i can finish devouring before they hit me..haha.. or you can say why dont use grenade to make them stop for a while and devour them?? well, you can call me lazy..i usually not using any item beside for healing.. and after i get JGHP skill, i rarely use any item on normal mission even just for healing, i mean not "hardened" mission like vs blitz hannibal +99..so almost all of my solo mission, i cleared it with no item.. just one month to go.. as i remember, GER released on 28 june, right?? or maybe you want to buy it as bundle with GE2RB??

For some reason when I go to do a step I end up doing my quick, is there a way to separate the 2? I've got Sharktooth set to Quick and Hell's Claw (Jail Claw) set to Step. My Combo skills fine, but for some reason when I go to do a step I do a quick.

Diversity Sol uh with predator style addition they enabled players to use 5 types of devours. Charge Quick Combo Dash Air You may assign any of the predator types to the first four devour slots Air however is a bit different than the others

You can't cuz that version is very old, resurrection is an update to burts that came in 2015/2016 for ps4/ps vita and burts was launched in 2010 for the psp
