God Eater had the copyright problem, good but not too good Astral Divinity had some changes like the chomp chomp thing, instead of 1 eye, there's 2 long weird looking ones. The 1st transition containing text where instead of God Eater it's Astral Divinity and there's a new thing instead of the old one. The part before the Calamity Mod reffrence is more polished and after it, the background is the thing Knobz leaked in one of his community posts. The red and blue part is now a more polished dark-ish red with some black too (Persona don't you dare do what the God Eater game done). At the 3 swords part, instead of red-green-yellow, we got red-yellow-blue and the swords are all different. Right after the credits, we see that instead of the god eater thing and text, we have the thing that is before it but glowy, super epic looking and the text is like the one at the 1st transmission with text. The deco spikes at 1:00 are black instead of having white outlines That's all the changes I saw and the text saying edited becuz i had to go update the comment upon every detail i see and if there are more, tell me so i can update.

For anyone who played Xenoblade chronicles. At 1:27 in god eater you can see pyras sword on the top, mythras sword on the bottom, and pneumas sword in the middle from xenoblade 2. In astral divinity you can see the two monados wielded by zanza on the top and bottom, and the true monado wielded by shulk in the middle from the first xenoblade game. Awesome references.

I wanted to see what is different between GE and AD So other than a few minor background changes and the name God Eater being changed because copyright, let's get to the major ones 1:18 so AD changed the original to Persona 5 themed, which everyone has pointed out but no one seems to recognize the 2 titans going out in the background, which seem to reference Xenoblade Chronicles 1! Those titans are the Bionis and the Mechonis And the Japanese Kanji is probably a Monado art idk lol And another major change is 1:26 of the 3 swords that are a reference to Xenoblade Chronicles 2's Aegis blades! Top red one is Pyra's Blade, Bottom yellow one is Mythra's... And middle cyan... *SPOILER ALERT* -its Pyra/Mythra's true form's blade, Pneuma- Which has been changed to in AD to still be swords, but probably original design (tho it still looks like it taken inspiration from the Monado from XBC1)

Differences I spotted: 0:04 Astral Divinity has fainter colors, but it works well, blends in more, the blocks in GE are outstandingly sharp, 0:18 The monster is different. Astral Divinity's monster is better in my opinion. 0:29 The new monster face is better, it is wider, thicker. 0:45 Astral Divinity's ground is darker, works better in my opinion, not as vibrant. 0:56 The background art is different, I have to admit, that GE's art is more detailed. 1:01 Minor difference: The monster has only 1 stripe on its forehead in Astral Divinity. 1:03 Background art is different. Hard to say which is better. Maybe GE. 1:11 Ok this one the saddest. GE has much better art here, I am sad the new version does not have it. 1:18 Biggest difference probably. I like both. 1:26 Different symbols and colors, it doesn't really make a significant difference. 1:34 Of course the end art. New one is much better in my opinion. More detailed, characteristic and mysterious.

Apart from the first part being more atmospheric with that glowing foreground and the ending screen, the new stuff in Astral Divinity is just... Not that good. The monster after the first part is off (wich in thr original GE wants), the art that had to be remade is ugly, the name is horrible compared to God Eater and, if I understand the situation enough, could've been kept, but wasn't, leading to this awful name. The new part almost at the end is also not that good, only people that played Persona will understand and enjoy, while the others like me will just feel like the part was strange in this divine setting. The part next I belive (with the swords) was made better, just a little. Little enough for me to like it more. The end art was really good, better than the original one, but, overall, didn't like the changes. Dunno why I wrote such a big comment, well I'm bored lol.

IIRC the main reason GE got in trouble was the name. It's the name of a game series, which got him into legal trouble with the devs, and led to the removal of the level. However, he was allowed to reupload the level with a different name, and took this chance to make some visual adjustments.

ObsidianChickenz nah mate, the main problem was the art from the game, not the name. You can copyright a name indeed, but out of context I can still use both God and Eater together. So the name could've been kept, but the art could've not. That's it really. GE got worst and there's nothing we can do about it.
