Something crazy happened to me today. I came home from school and I prayed and in that prayer I said God, I can’t do this anymore. I can’t rid myself of this addiction and better myself without a reason. I need a god fearing woman and a relationship that will push us closer to you. And I feel as if he is answering that prayer. God is great and works in mysterious ways, I’ve been praying on this for a long time and I’m glad I am able to spread this message.

I mean, there's people out there that look at the sky and has the will to say: "God is a bad person, he lets people die.", even though God gave humanity a second chance even after being betrayed. Is he bad for giving us the chance to go to heaven or he is good for letting us have freedom? We don't understand the nature of God, and NO ONE, not even those who say: "I felt it in my heart that this is the way God wants me to go!" No. This is what they want to understand. Wanting it or not, no one saw the start of this world or has proofs to prove it. I don't think that someone's faith is reliable, but, don't think it is disposable. I am putting myself in my place as a mere animal, classified as rational by humans. Someone with a conscience would not be fooled by appearances.

I'm 23. I need prayer. I'm struggling with porn. I talked to God about it. I dont know what to do. I haven't shared this with anyone but God also revealed my wife in two dreams in 2022 and 2023, and I saw her at church one time for a special occasion, and her name matched in the vision God gave me where he spoke to me. He also gave me a specific date, which is less than 2 years from now. It's crazy but I'm in no place for that right now because I need to fix my life now. I never even had a job because fear and anxiety have held me back. I'm tired of going back to porn. Porn is a huge sin in my life, and I'm struggling. I cried to God literally in tears but haven’t been freed from it. I have to get rid of this perversion and lust. My longest time I went without it was 85 days back in late October 2024. Please pray for me, brothers. I need to start doing what's right now for my relationship with God and for my future wife.

Praying for you my friend, I'm only slightly older than you and can tell you that the flesh is weak, BUT it is only the SPIRIT that can overcome and give the fruit of self control. Don't give up my brother, I stumble as well but I get back up each time! Don't forget about God's grace as well , God knows your heart and true intentions. Peace be with you brother. This may not apply to you, but the thing that finally helped me breakthrough was fasting. I started fasting sweets (candy, ice cream, anything with excessive amounts of sugar) and all my temptation was gone. I fasted all food for a day as well during that time and it helped me immensely. Another thing I'd like to add, find out why you're doing it, is it a thrill for you? Is it because your lonely? there's all sorts of reason but eliminating loneliness was what really helped me get over it. Remember, with God all things are possible and you're never too far gone. @@CosmoDied currently fasting as well and I can testify, it absolutely helps , but only if you spend time with God while fasting, like setting apart a specific time each day specifically for God. This will without a doubt help. It won't eliminate the temptation completely because the flesh is wicked but it will help you be able to fight back with God on your side.

I read in Roman's I believe, that you must fight temptations, all except for lust. With lust, you must flee, if you feel those desires, read the Bible, go for a walk. Because a man cannot fight his own self, he must escape it. I have been clean for 6 months now and I'm praying for you.

I agree. But sometimes love is confusing, with all the emotions. I think to keep ourselves pure is very important, this way we will make less mistakes and be truly guided by God. And yes, I believe that if God is blessing a relationship, it means both of them are pleasing God, and therefore less problems will result. I think it's necessary to pray for marriage, or just relationship in general daily, because it is a spiritual cover from God, and that's very powerful. Humans make bad choices all the time, and to stay in God's track is the best thing to do.

I prayed so much but he has free will and chose to let everything fall apart. God separated us to save me. I guess it would depend on their reasons. Is it shallow stuff like the person isn't your race/ don't like something about their personality or is it something deeper/a character issue they have red flags about? I've seen it go both ways. It's good to listen to wisdom and then weigh it accordingly, because ultimately, you're the person that the decision affects the most.
