I experienced a similar thing though with Pelican send Holly moly after almost a decade they released something new and so good. I went to their concert in Poznań, Poland in 2015 with the best friend of mine. What an experience that was. Now I've bought a ticket for their concert scheduled for May 2020, for 15th anniversary of 'All Is Violent, All is Bright'. I was so excited when I foud out that they're also going to play new songs from the upcoming album. Then the concert got postponed to October; then to April 2021. I'm wondering if in the end I'll be able to see them at all. But what comforts me, is that if I do, I will already know their new songs.

I am so pumped for the new album! Saw GIAA in Denver a few years ago. Not only is their recorded stuff amazing, I cannot recommend seeing them live enough either! GIAA is one of my favorites by far. They have so many great albums out its hard to get bored but if you find yourself wanting to explore more, Tides From Nebula is another amazing band with similar vibes! A decent amount of post rock leaves me wanting more intensity. GIAA and Tides From Nebula don't have that problem
