Final track of God Is An Astronaut's self-titled 2008 album. Possibly my favourite track on the album...so go and buy it if you like their music! (No copyright infringement intended, if i'm asked to take it down, i will)

This isn't just music, this is a journey.

This is more then a journey. It's like a story told but with only instruments being played with different sounds adding to the story etc. :D

In truth, instrumental music has its own beauty and God Is An Astronaut captures every bit of it. Their music always seems to say something in different ways to each individual.

I hate when people call this boring. Especially when their reason is that it doesn't have any lyrics. It's fucking beautiful.

people always talked to me about music generating emotions, but i never really understood what they meant until i listened to God is an Astronaut; now i understand completely..

This track's name is perfect. The first minute or so is your life as it is, then suddenly... you're punched in the face with the distress and turbulent emotions associated with tragedy. It calms down for a few minutes as reality begins to sink in, then grief stabs you in the gut and makes you feel the hurt of loss.

This song makes you feel like you are ascending, becoming something more, especially towards the end.

Some people beg to forget. Some people don't remember. You acknowledge and respect: honor the lost, and quench your pain with the remnants of their timeless being, buried yet alive, deep within your very heart.

This song is perhaps my favorite song in the whole wide world. This brings for me back so many memories from when I was a teenager. I listened to this track over and over and over. Something about it brings me to tears if I really let it. It's really quite magical it has such a powerful effect on me. May peace be with everyone. I pray you find your path and something worth living for.

so bittersweet. like any loss. you think you have time. and then life happens, everything comes to an end. it shatters your hopes. but still, life is a hopeful place.despite all the tragedies.

For all those millions of stupid, unthoughtful, ignorant and unemotional comments which one can find at KZbin, there are a few which are the exact opposite and may help to prevent humanity decaying completely. And this one is one of those few.

somehow, without words, this tune captures a lot of hope filled moods for me. Today (New years Eve) it's perfect "end of a year" music , it needs to be heard at devastating volume to work, sorry neighbours.

This music is so intense and meaningful. It's just a real piece of art, not only the music itself but also the title, which, in its simplicity, makes our own losses reemerge in our minds. One just can't listen to this epic song without questioning all of his/her actions and decisions in the process.

Highly emotional & meaningful, not to listen if you're not feeling well enough (what I did some days ago-it teared me apart-the title didn't help either...thinking of someone in particular...), but this is so much like a song i'd love to have written, with even a lot of light in it, as hard as the beginning of my comment makes it hard to believe.... a-w-e-s-o-m-e...(thanks)

Arguing with a christian is like playing chess with a pigeon. No matter how good of a chess player you are, the pigeon will always knock over the pieces and shit on the board. I love the part of the bible where god gives us free will, then drowns us for not acting the way he wanted us to.
