I know I'm healed of my emotional wounds by faith, but lately I've been singing less and less because I think back to the years that have passed when I was a part of church worship teams. I sing in my own room/home but I don't know where this sadness is coming from all of a sudden. I'm 32 now, got saved at 12 and joined the youth worship team at 13. A lot has transpired over the years, good and bad. Honestly, I'm wanting to sing and make music again for the Lord, not just in my room but as a vessel for God. To help build the kingdom of God, to encourage, for God to heal people. Please pray for me brothers and sisters. Having said this, I have faith that God is carrying me to where He is leading me. Maybe you can still do that! Pray to God for guidance on a good place to sing and use your voice. Since you mentioned being part of a praise and worship team in the past, I wonder if perhaps you can join a choir or singing group at a local Church?

Insomnia hurts so much. And no one gets it. But i was delivered, and you will be delivered to. Try exercising ot working hard daily, by the time its time to sleep, you feel exhausted. Worked for me. Also donot be anxious that you wont sleep, relax and meditate on Gods word. Be at peace, He will come through.

I'm so glad you were able to find strength to keep going. I recently went through a period of despair, but one of my closest friends gave me St. Josemaria Escriva's books to read. They are so hopeful, I really advise reading them. One of his main points is that, no matter how we've fallen, how severely we've sinned, stand up. Leave the sin writhing in the ditch, but pick yourself up, clothe yourself in the Lord's love and come home
