Baguio is a great city to raise your kids - education, city life, nature etc. It is also 1 hour down the mountains to the beach in LU. All the best.

I've never been to Korea, but I watch a lot of kdrama :) so I think Baguio is best for your family. It may not be as cold or it doesn't snow but it's a mix of island life and chill. Maybe start a korean restaurant there ♡♡ God bless your family ♡

I love Baguio. The all year round cool weather, the cafés, the restaurants, the sceneries, the very low crime rate, the festivities, the house layouts and architecture, etc. Me and my partner are planning to live there too in a few years 😊

Transferring learners to Baguio is pretty easy. As a teacher (but I teach in a public school), I would advise for the kids to finish the First Quarter of the School Year before they will move. Some private schools require a Certificate of Good Moral Character from the school they are coming from, other schools also require students to have an entrance exam. Some Catholic schools here in Baguio require a baptismal certificate of the child and marriage certificate from the parents. My niece and nephew wanted to go to UB Science High mostly because of they grew up speaking English but they were late in passing their papers. So, they went to SLU as it was their second choice. May the children's educational journey be smooth sailing. ^-^

If you want to go to Baguio, there, are lots of rental houses that you can find that is cheaper than condominiums... Try to look for that. Apartments that has many rooms and is very near the city and convenient I am from Baguio that is why I am recommending you to stay in Baguio. Prices of commodities are very cheap and there are, a lot of schools convenient and suitable to your children.

School year (in Baguio) only started on August, most of private / int schools will have their 1st quarter exam on October so its still okay to transfer just inquire with the school about their requirements for transfer. Its much easier now since school admin can request docs via email unlike before that you need to obtain hard copies straight from the prev school. Once youve settles here in Baguio and adjust to our lifestyle it would be easier for you to find cheap rental houses.

Before going back to Baguio you should get a school for ur kids in Baguio call them first and ask them if they can still enroll or if you decide to go back in Baguio it is really good for you all since you grow up in cold country if will be all good for you ...Goodluck I'm always watching your video

I realy felt sad also when u decided to leave Baguio but There are actually many rental houses in Baguio because it is the center of education in the north..there are also cheaper rental homes but it’s hard to find them because they were not advertised.there are lots of koreans here too. So glad u finally decided to come back here.hope we could meet u here in the city of pines someday

Baguio cold place, then if you miss the beach you can go to La Union. You can also try Tagaytay for the cold weather, then if you need beach go to Batangas beaches.

born and raised here in Baguio but I have moved abroad. I had korean classmates when I was in high school plus a lot of korean restaurants and cafes so your kids won’t be left out too if ever. btw There’s a school just minutes away from our house before its called “Disciples for Christ (DFC)” Lots of koreans and filipinos students and I think they also have shuttle/service to school. But if not there’s so many good school options. Hopefully you guys can settle soon! I had a really good childhood there.

try to visit angeles city only 2 hours from manila. we have a korean town where you can find many restos and hotels. it is only 5 minutes near clark airport. it has cheaper houses for rent. please try going to angeles city

I am so happy you found a place to stay in Baguio. They have great schools there. I went to SLU in Baguio. La Union beach is nearby if you miss the ocean and warm climate. As adventurous as you guys are, I am sure that you will venture out farther to Benguet and the rest of the Cordillera regions like Sagada and Banaue. Farther north to Ilocos Norte is beautiful. Look up Batanes also. Good luck!

If you like the weather in Baguio, you might want to try Tagaytay. It may not be as cold but its cooler than other places in Luzon and it also close to beaches in Batangas where you could go in case you miss the hot weather and the palm trees :D

Last time my family went to Baguio, we stopped by Tagaytay. We also had Bulalo there, and it was delicious, and the scenery of Tagaytay was also amazing.💜💜💜

But one thing for sure there is no beach in Baguio City but you can see a lot of pine trees almost everywhere..opposite to Boracay with beach and palm trees. Chose which one would you like live @Hellophilippines. God bless your family.

You should have stayed and live in either La Union or Dagupan City only 2 hours drive to visit in Baguio anytime or live in Angeles Pampanga coz if Korea town. And Clark airport convenient to travel back and forth to Korea specially when you're relatives visits you.
