My brother and sister Islam is not a new religion brought by Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), its the religion of all Prophets and their followers from Adam to Prophet Muhammad. Islam is submitting ourselves to God will and live a life as He wants to be. And He sends Prophets to all nations on earth to guide the people but as time passes scribes changed the pure message by adding and removing the verses as per their wishes. Brother and sister, Dr. Zakir Naik said the only religion is oneness of God/Allah. He meant by this is that if you believe in oneness of God/Allah, pray and seek forgiveness, maintain the regulation which doesn't violates the belief then that is the true religion. So it doesn't mean this is the invitation to Islam. Rather it's the path to the core of every religion. Moreover monotheism ( oneness of God/Allah) is the core to Islam/ Christianity. Allah (SWT) mentioned in the Quran that you will find Christians as your Ally which also indicates that Islam and true christians believe in monotheism. In Islam Allah is God. In Christianity book Bible Alohim is referred as God which in Arabic translated as Allah. And in old testimony as same as Alohim translated as Allah. So don't assume things by your self first get information and then judge Dr zakir naik. Zakir naik is saying truth because he has knowledge of all religions. So in all religions God is referred as Allah.

Secondly, in Islam we believe that Islam came with the first man on Rath which is ADAM, hence we believe that all the prophets and messengers had the same religion which is Islam (which means submitting your self to your creature: Allah). What was the religion of Jesus? He was definitely not Christian because Christianity came after him. And also what was the religion of Abraham? Because Judaism came after him. Hence we believe that Abraham, Jesus, and all the messengers came with the same religion (Islam) and the same teachings (worshiping Allah alone with no partners)

I love your reactions because you accept the truth, not like other stereotyped people. you believe that there is only one God, then think why would he make so many different religions to follow for his creation(human being). he would definitely not want us to fight with each other. So, he is the only one and he sent us with only one guidance of life in different times with different messengers, be it Adam(as), Moses(as), Jesus(as), Dawood/David(as), Yusuf, Yunus, Yaqub(as), Ibrahim(as), and the final Muhammad(pbuh), they all are from the same source(Allah), so many religions came because of misinterpretations or distortion of scriptures from Allah by people over time, but Quran is the final & only scripture that is not distorted and won't be distorted until the last day comes. Islam is not a religion, it's the guidance of life for every single human being from the beginning to the end of the universe.

The teachings of Islam never say that if you do not accept islam you will be punished in hell because judgment will be made by god al mighty also the Islamic law prohibits forced conversion, following the Quranic principle that there is "no compulsion in religion" (Quran 2:256). Peace

What we believe as a Muslim is, there's one God and a lot of prophet but we only need to know 25 prophet. Each prophet has their own missions to tell or show that there's God. But not all of them believe it. And a lot of people in the past miss understanding the message, or just create or modified the message, so God keep sending the messenger which is prophet. Untill the last prophet muhammad. So I think what Dr. Zakir try to tell you is that there's One God and it should be one religion. The first man of creation and the first prophet Adam(peace be upon him) preached the oneness of God the Almighty. He preached the monotheism of God, monotheism means :-God is one,he has no equal,he has no picture,no sculpture,no trinity.He is the creator of all creation.In this way, he has been through various prophets and messangers from time to time such as Noah(pbuh), Moses(pbuh), Abraham(pbuh), Isacc(pbuh), David(pbuh),Solomon(pbuh),Josoph(pbuh),Jesus(peace be upon him) all of them preached the oneness of God.Following this,Allah sent the last prophet Muhammad(peace be upon him) as the last and final messanger.He didnot come up with a new message,but he was sent as a preacher of the oneness of God as the previous prophet did.Many people have a misconception that Islam is a new religion but is not.Because The first man and first prophet Adam(pbuh) came to preach the oneness of God and last prophet Muhammad(pbuh) was sent to preach the same message.Christans have a misconception,they say Jesus is the son of God Because he was born without a father.Adam(pbuh) is great example to God this regard because Adam(pbuh) was born without both parents.Its very easy for God when he says it happens.Allah says: "Do they not see that if there were Gods besides Allah, there would have been chaos and war between them?". Verses 88-92 of surah 19(surah Mariyam) of the quran, God says,Those people say! That God has given birth to a son They have insulted God the most.If there was a feeling of the sky,the sky would burst.If there was a feeling of texture, the texture would be torn.If there was a feeling of mountains,then the mountains would fall to pieces.If you don't like the word Islam,omit it. You have to believe in one God and the prophet Muhammad(pbuh) and at the same time to all the previous prophets.In fact,this is Islam.Islam is not associating anyone with the oneness of one God.Not to associate any flesh with him.. Dr.Zakir Naik wants to convey that Islam is the only religion acceptable to almighty God.But you could not understand anything by watching only one question and answer of that lecture episode without watching the whole lecture episode.Many are watching you, So don't comment without understanding.Maybe by your words anyone can go astray.That is why you have to answer to almighty God.So be very careful.
