I was reading through my journal the other day, and I was reminded of the time when I was praying for a friend....I asked, "How can I pray for this person?", and I saw the word 'Sur' in my mind. I looked it up, and one meaning was, 'A port in Southern Lebanon on the Mediterranean Sea, which is known for its silk'. I looked up silk the other day, and it means 'drawn from the cocoon'. The Lord was telling me that my friend (and myself) were both being 'drawn from the cocoon in this season'. The Lord has also been helping me to trust Him for what this new season will look like, and to give up all preconceptions. The color blue is VERY significant to me as well -- it represents God's glory: 'coming out of the cocoon -- its time to fly -- covered in God's glory!!!' 💙💙 Also, the Lord has been showing me that I still have resentment towards my abusive ex, and that I need to completely release that and subsequently the fear of him to be 'free to soar'......'I need to bury my dead Pharoah'......."I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit within you and cause you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.". Alwyn, I would never say this if it weren’t the Truth. I have never experienced anything like this before, but I am the person this is specifically relevant to. In 2011 he called me the Exploding Butterfly- meaning how I will exit this cocoon. In faithful obedience I even purchased “exploding butterfly” as a domain. About a month ago I saw a similar vision in prayer. A butterfly was holding on to the tip of a pencil, but it was frozen underneath the weight of the ice. Slowly, the ice started to melt, and ping!
