+patrick susulin Not really, it depends on how it is composed. Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso by Saint-Saënz (what I was listening before I ran into this video lol) doesn't sound sad at all. You can find it in the Shigatsu wa kimi no uso OST, which has a nice variety of Piano and Piano/Violin pieces that show how different the same instruments can sound depending on how they are played.

Awesome, IMO better than the original. I just like the slower, calmer and more sentimental sound of this. especially Piano and violin are by two favorite instruments so it just can't be beat. The original one was already pretty good too though.
