I am also a lesbian, I was told that if I “chose” to be a lesbian, I could not be a Christian so for many years I rebelled against my own faith. Recently I’ve decided I want my faith, I want my children to grow up with Christ in their hearts. I am studying the bible and growing everyday. My sexuality can’t and won’t ever change, but I am so glad you’re having this conversation. Wow!!!!!!! This is the most powerful podcast I’ve ever witnessed! I was deeply moved and blessed by Angel’s and Luis’s testimony! The way God used them both in a life changing experience and brought them closer to Jesus and now are disciples for Him is mind blowing! You can’t tell me God is not real after hearing their testimony from that tragic experience. But He can make beauty from ashes!! They are opening a door (that has always seemed closed by the church) for a community to be heard, loved on and guided towards a journey to the salvation of Christ. I love this. I have a gay best friend. She was living with her girlfriend in sin but God released her from it. She still lives with a woman (she was abused by many men) but they are celibate. They live together as companions and follow Jesus. She is the strongest and most precious woman I know.

I have been holding back tears this entire video. I almost passed it by and didn’t watch! This was so needed. One of the most BALANCED discussions about LGBTQ+ issues I have heard in a lonnnggg time. Guys thanks a lot. Everything you guys just said, I went through and have bren through for most of my life. You guys are basically describing my life. Sadly, I haven't found a place to open up about this. Talked to many pastors and leaders and recovery groups, and have received the cold shoulder, ignored, ostricized. I got hurt by the church so much back at what used to be my home church, that it is so hard to open up again, cause of these things. Pray for me that God can provide community. Cause it is Biblical to have community, we cannot be by ourselves. Thanks for stressing that here. Cause even my parents doubt in a way that I need that, they think only God, but we are called to live in godly community.

I am 10 min into watching this video and I’m not sure where this conversation is going but let us be clear: God does NOT love nor create homosexuality. God DOES love each and every person He created! The title of this message is very misleading. We as followers of Christ have to stop watering down the Word to fit the palate of people. We each must lay down our lives, allow Jesus to transform us into his image and that may require us to go against somethings that may or may not feel natural. I hope by the end of this conversation we clearly state the word of God. And hold fast to it!

I’m looking at the title hoping I was reading it wrong. I’m glad I took the time to listen to the content. Well I think the problem is some may take it as God blesses LBGTQ lifestyle. Which some podcasters or preachers are pitching out. Also, some will be in the lifestyle and preach the word around LBGTQ community. I really appreciate that this isn’t the narrative here. LBGTQ lifestyle is subjective to sexual immorality and impurity, just as sexual immorality exists in people who are attracted to opposite sex. Good conversation.

May I just say GOD loves us all but the sexual acts that are deemed ok is a LIE.. GOD hates sin not the sinner.. if that sinner knows the lord and seeks to walk with him you can not disregard Sexual perversion in same sex acts.. I thank you for the apology. I went to a church that had an anti-gay group come and speak. Some of it was actually good but the misinformation and the hate in the small groups was infuriating, and no one knew I considered myself gay. I met with one of them and it was just laughable. This group broke up after the leaders got together. I am a Christian 100 percent! I trust in the Lord for my all! However, I am still gay. I don't feel ashamed of it and don't see why I should be. I do not believe "same-sex attraction" is a sin. In fact, I believe a majority of people have had those thoughts. We need to be truthful! I am not ashamed of who I am. Christianity is not a sin acceptance machine. The church is not a place for love of SIN. Wake up, it never was. LGBT is trying to make SIN a loving demonstration, this is so far from the truth of GOD. If this is you, then walk away from the church, you are not ready. The journey is from recognising your in sin, repenting and then coming to GOD. Not recognising your sin, embracing it and then establishing your own church for accommodating SIN, was never written that way. If you choose sin, then dont go to church, its that simple. Church is for the repentant, that's the journey. Stop fooling that church is a place of love, its not for sinners and its written that way. The weak luke warm will not preach it so, the church is for the transformed, new wine skins. Read the prodigal son and learn. How many times does Jesus say to turn from the flesh?
