@@Ifytoonsmediabiz It's a contradiction. 1. Matthew 19:26 claims that with God all things are possible. 2. Yet the Joshua verse I quoted describes _God specifically being with someone,_ but then that person failed. Why? Because they were in a war against chariots of iron. Because these verses contradict each other, they cannot both be true. To me it seems clear it's all just nonsense: we have no reason to believe any of the supernatural claims of the Bible. But at a minimum a person has to admit that either (A) God wasn't with Judah or (B) all things aren't possible with God. (one verse or the other must be wrong.) With this video being titled "God never fails", it felt important to bring up this clear time described _in the Bible itself_ of God failing. I mean really if you look at the Bible with open eyes, it's a non-stop parade of God's failures, right? Adam/Eve either didn't turn out as intended, _or were intentionally made to be evil,_ which then contradicts God being described as "all-good". (And for them to fail to turn out as intended would contradict "all-knowing".) If you take the Bible seriously and really commit to memory all the claims it makes, you'll start to notice tons and tons and tons of this stuff.

When religions tell you nonsense like that, it's fine to ignore it. They're just trying to keep you believing by telling you things that sound nice. Granted, as a non-believer, clearly I _chose you_ to respond to. So in a loose sense you _are_ a chosen one. I also think you have tremendous value. That's why I spend time trying to help others detach from religion: because they have value and they don't deserve to be misled by bad ideas. But make no mistake: to know something requires evidence, and nobody you talk with has evidence of a god. So it's just not an idea worth believing.
