A year ago, my son needed a new place to live. We tried & tried to find a place for over a month. Finally, 2 days before he had to leave his old place, I asked God to help me, and Thanked Him for meeting our needs, though I couldn't see any way forward; not yet. I put out messages to 5 of his friends. 2 hours later, he had an Affordable, Beautiful place! Really beautiful, with friends waiting. Then I discovered that, in despair, my son had quit his job. I was stunned. I had absolutely no money to help him, but, knowing God was with us, moved forward anyway, as though no barriers remained. I helped him clean the old place, and packed up all his stuff in my van, and we closed that door behind us. Now at zero-hour, we drove to his old workplace, where his manager pleaded my son's case to the district manager. 20 minutes later, he was back at work until later, when we had to interview for the new place. He moved in an hour after the interview. It was as if, having prayed in full belief and trust, we had watched a road forward built under our feet With Each Step We Took. This song captures my heart. It's the story of my life, in truth. I especially love the visuals of the footprints, walking forward. ❤
