it's understandable that reader/viewer underestimated Shiva so much. 1. Tbh this fight is the most boring right after Thor vs Lu Bu, it's understandable for Thor vs Lubu since they're just the opening but this fight honestly is just boring, not to mention the hype in this fight got stolen in the back stage with Buddha and Loki + 7 lucky gods 2. Shiva got beaten up pretty bad (i mean he got his face kicked in the very 1st minute the fight started), even when he won he still lost a limb 3. He got postponed so much (he was supposed to fight adam, the 2nd fight and got cockblocked by Zeus, then got cockblocked again by Poseidon, and again by Hercules) that the hype for him actually already gone whe he got the chance to fight Don't get me wrong, Shiva is one of my favorite participant from gods side, but these point that i make really make him fall flat

A give away fight just to even out the lead. Raiden was supposed to be paired with another volund that could both enhance his physical ability, his durability and control his muscles at the same time but he was partnered with Thrud instead or the so called brute sister who only helped Raiden for his muscular control. If author actually went with the supposed pairing, Shiva would've been crushed to bits. And humanity would be at an advantage since it is already decided that Qin Shi Huan will win the next round.
