It could conceivably be a TAS. I don’t know the game well enough to judge, despite beating it on this same difficulty (not anywhere near as easily). But certainly tool-assisted speed runs are done with other games, so it’s possible. I’m only 25 minutes in when making this comment, but yes, it almost seems like a computer.

I agree because the Long play is a good way of showing everything the game has to offer. @@treyblackstock6814 It will take you some practice. This is a combination of Icarus Ascension and the Barbarian Hammer High Jump. Basically, you start by pressing L1 + X to perform Icarus Ascension, then while airborne (with Barbarian Hammer equipped) press L1 to perform Might of the King, however this is where it gets tricky. Before Kratos slams the ground, press the start button quickly (you must do it right as the animation begins) to enter the Power Up menu. Then, quickly cycle through your sub-weapons until you return to the Barbarian Hammer. Once you're done, press either start or triangle to return to the game. Quickly double jump, and Kratos will grab onto the ledge and pull himself up. Remember, this will take some practice but you'll get into the rhythm of it soon enough.

Good game. Thank you 2:47:09 first, grab the second weapon before the double jump. It doesn't matter which one you select. Then, jump twice and wait until you see kratos shows his second weapon in the air and immediately press start, then change your second weapon to another weapon and return to the game and immediately press the jump button again. There were two things he did better than Ares: He actually had loyalty to his homeland, and he didn’t try to take over Olympus, unlike Ares’s rebellion in the original game.

Also he never asked to be a god? He wanted to be rid of the haunting memories of killing his wife and kid. Basically had PTSD and just wanted it to stop. Athena tricks him into killing Ares so she doesn't have to bloody her own hands by being vague in her promises to him. When he realizes she won't rid him of the constant visions of his torment, his goes to kill himself. Which the gods further deny and place him in the role of the god of war since they no longer have Ares. He did not want godhood. He did not ask for it. So yes. I can imagine pent-up rage, frustration, and betrayal would lead him into being a warmonger. Can't say Kratos is a hero in these games, but you also can't say that what he does is unwarranted. Every single one of his actions is spurred by the gods meddling in his life. Ares would have had a loyal warrior for the rest of Kratos' days if he hadn't tricked him into killing his family.

I’m running through 1, 2 and 3 currently, having finished 2018 and ragnorok had to revisit these classics.
