God of War: Ascension - Kraken Final Boss Fight + Ending 4K 60FPS Ultra HD

We played the game on the RPCS3 emulator in 4K resolution and also added reshades to improve the graphics. The game looks amazing, almost remastered. The only downside to this version are some occasional graphic glitches from the emulation. As with previous games, God of War: Ascension is set in an alternate version of ancient Greece populated by the Olympian gods, Titans, and other beings from Greek mythology. Game events are set six months after Kratos killed his family, and ten years before the original God of War (2005). The next game chronologically would be Chains of Olympus (2008), which takes place some time between Ascension and God of War (2005). The game's narrative takes place over four weeks; it shifts between the present (the fourth week) and past (the preceding three weeks), while the player controls Kratos in both. Several locations, including the Prison of the Damned and some real-world locations-including the village Kirra, the city Delphi, and the island Delos-are explored in the game.

Ascension pushed the PS3 to its limits dude, i'd love to see this game remastered for modern platforms so it can be played in all its glory.

Honestly I had stopped playing GOW after 3, didn’t even bother with Ascension. I honestly had lost interest in the character by this point.

Respectfully, I disagree. Story wise, maybe, but it's still a blast and a cinematic masterpiece. One could make the argument that GOW4-R isn't too great bc of Kratos' change of character or it being a therapy sim.. but even they are great.
