Alright, let's speculate wildly - what do we think all of these different Gods of War from different regions means?

a starving african child well if you at the lower right side you'll see three swirling dots or tome in Japanese the are the symbol of Raijin kami/god of thunder and war just Google Raijin and you'll see a guy with those. The swirl on the bottom left is a Celtic talisman symbol similar to the Greek omega

Everyone keeps pointing out that Kratos is going to go out and fight the other god deities and while I will disagree I think somthing bigger is being set up Tyr here is known to have traveled to all over the world to spread peace (even through he was a God of War) and many cultures repected him enough to give him gifts. Tyr was obviously leveled headed and one of the genueally good gods. There has to be a reason other then just a big hint that Tyr took the time to had for symbols for four other different Gods of War on this piece of his mural.

True, but time traveling is obviously a thing. Plus, they never touched up on who blew the World Serpent horn when Kratos was canoing to Freyas when Atreus was ill. Kratos, Atreus and Mimir would be the only ones contacting him and certainly not Baldur, Thor and Odin since they're afraid of him and don't speak the giant language. And all the Giants are dead, so is Tyr truley dead? It's all speculation, but someone or something unseen is able to summon the World Serpent.

Here in 2023 shortly after GoW Ragnarok. Did some skimming through reddit and google to understand basic/common interpretations about the four symbols. 1. The Eye of Ra (Egyptian) - A sign of celestial power. Such power that can not only bring harmony, but also violence. If the story continues through this mythology, I would imagine it to explore the concept of balance. 2. Omega (Greek) - Symbolizes "The End" (Interesting how the narrative writers used this to connect the fall of Olympus to Ragnarok) 3. Triskelion (Celtic, possibly from Mimir's homeland) - Represents a cycle. Perhaps a cycle of life and war, maybe even with some focus on celestial details. 4. Three-Fold Tomoe (Japanese) - Another cycle. Again, (given the context) a cycle of life and war. What's interesting about this one is that it may also be associated with archery. If that is the case, it could make sense for Atreus' journey to spin-off into this mythology. Also fun to note that each pantheon has their own God/Goddess of War. I'd be excited to learn of them through this game's narrative. It's hard to imagine the bigger picture surrounding the common meaning of these symbols and the mythologies they belong to. The God of War series may have a very long way to go.

Maybe tyr is the one who saves kratos. He seeks help from gow of different land and he chose kratos because greek is already ruined so getting their gow out of their land not gonna harm their peace. The reason he didnt picked up blade of olympus probably because it absorb their power who holding it and tyr cant go home if he pick it up, as for blade of chaos is because it is a cursed blade who follow its owner. If anyone doesn’t know what the 3 Swirls symbol is…. I believe it’s the realm of where Merlin is. If anyone has watched “Merlin” and I apologize for spoilers. They have this “3 piece Key” The thief already has 1, gains the second, and the remaining piece is hidden in the Castle. This Key, if I am correct or forgotten which it opens…. I believe it was they Key to a old castle and lead to a dragon egg. I might be mistaken, But if I am correct that symbol may be the Symbol of Merlin’s era. I’ve seen people get confused and only know the other symbols but that swirling symbol lots got confused…. That’s my belief of what it is. We might be able to see Magic 🪄 in God of War but not another God of War, We might see a Witch who wants to destroy everything. And everyone knows the future of Loki on the wall left by his mother. But is that man Loki is holding his Father…… Maybe but maybe not. I believe Loki was fooled to thinking his Father died to release his inner power. Remember the other God of war games, Kratos was fooled time and time again…. @@thought1075 or it may be the mask connected with the unity stone. After connecting it could take you to Egypt, Japan, Celtic lands and Greece as shown on the panel. It looks like it has eyes and mouth. But what's interesting, there is a concept in many religions of a cosmic egg. It's supposed to be made of primordial essence, contain it and give birth. And we know that Jotunns posessed this primordial energy from Ymir, after his death the spark was created, it had the same cosmic energy. And as you can read in link below, in Finnish myths life hatched from some cosmic egg, just like the first Giants came out from Ymir's armpit! So maybe that's the version of this myth. Also, in Egyptian myth Ibis (Thoth) lays down some egg somewhere in Hermepolis, city which is connected with cult of Hermes. My theory *Kratos is going to die soon* it’s been hinted that he would give up his life it meant his son could live I think it has to do with something about Atresus being sick and being a Half Spartan/Giant hybrid. The giants knew everything that would happened in the future and created a drawings that prophesied the future. Also I’m guessing Ragnarok seems to be a huge clue this is the reason Odin is after them I can’t wait to see What happens next. DLCs are coming and will further expand the story. I think the reason it’s called God of War instead of God of War 4 is because this is a new journey for Kratos and he’s changed a lot since his time in Greece. He’s trying to be more remorseful as a Father, he’s not as bloodthirsty as he was in previous games. I think that’s what the developers had in mind when they gave the game it’s title. Different Time, Different Place, Different Kratos. So God of War
