Mick Gordon for Doom 2016 soundtrack, and he actually got it. Bear did an absolutely amazing job on GOW OST, but I encourage you to look at how music works in Doom, it's like the ultimate way of doing music in a video game

I remember playing GoW for the first time. It was something else. The narrative has such a great rhythm like I've never experienced before in a video game before. I'm sure you folks understand what I mean. Anyway, when I heard this song for the first time, I felt shivers down my spine. I still get that. A true masterpiece. The tale of kratos is a dark and sad tale, a man who lost everything not once but twice, a man who would make sure his son would be ready to go alone when he was gone, but in the end he was able to what everyone even himself thought was impossible.. he got his happy ending and that truly brings tears to my eyes
