It does look like he is using a lot of glitchy animation cancels though. I don't think the developers intended for these. For example the agile punch animation cancel that lets you essentially move at 200% speed indefinitely. Also it looks like he recalls his axe during agile punches somehow so that he doesn't have to pay the time penalty of your character standing there with his hand out. I kind of wish this kind of stuff was just in the game naturally so I don't have to learn to glitch animations to chain some of these combos together. It definitely looks cool though.

What the hell are you talking about? Those moves are IN THE GAME and part of the gameplay mechanics system... the problem is practicing doing them... Do you notice how he avoids getting hit?... a game with skills based gameplay mechanics system means that if you can master the move set (which under skills where it tells you how to execute them is very extensive... instead of button mashing which is what the average gawker and FEARFUL gamer sees...) Instead of actually learning... kinda like learning Virtua Fighter and then playing the hardest A.I. eventually you can see certain attacks... and know how to prevent their attacks from hitting you by being cool... Obviously when he first played this game much like how the Game Breaker also shows in his channel, they both died a lot... however you hardly see those unless they're live streaming because even if it seems like they are exploiting something... they can still mess up, get hit and in certain cases like wearing the basic armor set... one touch dead... If you tried it you might throw your gamepad in rage... the point is looking at the kills menu... practice, etc which is what they did... Button mashing and thinking you're a bad ass while in NORMAL mode isn't going to get you anywhere... you might as well play on Give Me Story... And note this is true only in tightly coded skills based games... 2018 GoW isn't perfect by any means but SMS did definitely polish and they did INTEND for advanced players to use the move sets in combination with the Realm Shift IF YOU CHOOSE TO... You can also opt to play without using Realm shift..Shift... but holy hell "Give Me a Challenge" and "Give Me God of War" difficulty modes are not just about enemies having higher hit points but they pulling advanced A.I. stuff only possible in pure single player games where skilled devs can make you fear the A.I. especially if you refuse to change your tactics... Also note I can say this... my gripe with the game is that in the harder difficulty modes it would have been awesome for MORE enemies to show up... including Wolvers, and Trolls and Ogres...... and Dark Elves Captains or King types... hell even a Valkyrie gauntlet would have been amazing... but the devs probably didn't believe the average player would like that... given how traitorous the professional gamer journalists are at whining about game difficulty... Not sure if you were ever aware but the original PS3 Demon's Souls was basically covertly labeled "hard" and "difficult" from a hardcore gamer they might have misread that whining as some flawed game... but later word of mouth happened... same deal with 2018 Gow... first it was detractors whining that the gameplay and combat was changed... Problem is there's six similar GoW games..., Heavenly Sword, Dantes Inferno, Castlevania and other copied GoW gameplay so too many games and alternatives existed and the cookie cutter needed to be broken... Imagine if later SMS made a full remake of the first four GoW games using the 2018 system but on PS5 hardware... too much indeed.

What GBG does is ultra high-skilled and is absolutely extraordinary with how he's able to, like his name implies, break the game. However, when trying to find the highest level gameplay of this game on KZbin, that style has become all there is. And it's nice to see elite God of War skills that remain within the confines of developer intention. Trying to take it in that direction was all you. Subtlety throwing shade at someone without calling them out directly is weak and if I were, it'd be obvious and you wouldn't have to question it.

GamebreakerGod can eat his heart out, Jesus Christ. I'm 3 minutes in and already this is the most energetic, comprehensive and cinematic gameplay I have ever witnessed. I've easily achieved close to 500 hours of pure combat across both GOW 2018 & GOWR (Valhalla DLC included). And I don't believe I will ever reach this level of understanding of their respective fighting systems. The time is must've taken to get these clips is insurmountable at my skill level; impressed is an understatement.
