I've beat every valkyrie on give me god of war and this is the most troublesome to me. I can not survive when she throws the rings then comes in with scythe. I release block after first ring and focus on parry but it's practically impossible. I tested what would happen if I dont block at all after getting hit with first ring and sometimes kratos still wouldnt put down the shield when she came in. He still held block when she came with scythe even when I wasn't holding block. Is it a glitch?

@@mzyzy If you are level 8 or lower, you can not block this attack. Try to get a better armor and other stuff, and that "warning" before her attack will be yellow and not red

@@chrismyers3661 thank you SIR, thank YOU. YOU ARE WONDERFUL. im completing give me god of war and didnt understand why i was getting a red ring since i built for reducing the mist effects and was at level 8. so i had to rethink my build. now im almost at 10 and beat that bitch down.

Mr.Sleepy Nope, you're half right. Hildr is level 10 so you can't parry her if you're level 8 or lower (purple health).
