these are cross gen games which means they also ran on base ps4 so it has to be well optimized. I am only worried about Spider-Man 2 that is the only next gen game which has ray tracing in every mode on ps5

Are you guys having huge fps drop in the chapter 2 like me? I have RX7600, everything was fine till i get dwarf level (chapter 2) it was 90 fps around when the area comes it goes around 40 even 30 in some cases.

If you have a gpu capable of both, then they are pretty similar. I say, if you have access to both fsr and dlss frame gen, meaning you have an nvidia card, I'd go with dlss frame gen if you prefer image quality over the performance boost. If you want maximum performance at a somewhat noticeable visual cost, go with amd's frame gen.

Both dlss and fsr frame gen improve frame rates, however fsr sacrifices some image quality to achieve higher fps.
