35 minutes of pure entertainment, had no idea you could deflect at 10:25 with the radiant war handles. I also didn’t know you could use the onslaught shield to charge through beigaōr’s attacks. I also love that the All father OST mix during the last fight is timed perfectly to crescendo right as Hrolfs head comes off.

Your knowledge of the combat mechanics And the wide variety of different combos that you can execute smoothly results an absolute masterpiece of a video. The fluidity and choreography is off charts. This is exactly the kind of videos Elden Ring fans need to see to see why GOW isn't just an amazing cinematic experience. It is the action game with the best gameplay by far. For variety, of combos, the animations that the combat has, the frenzy, aggressiveness and power that Kratos feels. In my opinion Elden Ring has more work behind it, with the open world and the crazy amount of bosses, but in other things Gow is noticeably better. The story, character development, gameplay and combat development, the music that accompanies the cinematographic scenes, with moments that make you tear up or make your hair stand on end due to their epicness. Without a doubt SmvR and GmgoW are the best players. Always elegant, intelligent, creative, fluid. Thank you very much for the wonderful content

I haven’t watch the video yet, but already know that is a master peace. For me, definitely the most creative and cinematic style of gaming by far. There’s lots of pretty good gamers but every single one of them falls in to a repetitive combo or attack pattern, me included. Your parrying skills are incredible 😮It’s crazy how you’re able to throw the axe or Draupnir Spear or even do flame whiplash right as the Beserkers are about to jump at you. Also 5:05 was so clutch that you went for the finisher right as that orb was coming for you. Solid gameplay as always!

The fight with the three beserkers in Alfheim is basically the game’s attempt to jump you, and here it is being done flawlessly. An absolutely insane feat of coordination and game knowledge😮‍💨🔥

Always love seeing you play not only for style, but I'm pretty sure I always learn about a new mechanic or 2. 1. 7:45 - Didn't know the axe dropping after the frozen spike could interrupt that attack, but the axe dropping is pretty OP in a lot of cases. 2. 23:23, 25.04 - How did you parry out of the shield charge? and a red ring attack no less? I knew the onslaught charge could go through red ring attacks if charged up, but the parry looks sick

Your awereness of everything happening in a fight is mesmerizing. And what i like the most is your combos look like improvisation, not some repetitive moves. How do you think so fast is beyond me. I tend to use the same things in a stressed battles an no way i can chain moves like you. P. S. After seeing this display of pure skill the king was like "F@ck this i'm done" and just stood there for 10 seconds. And the little nudge with the shield right after "come on softie wachugot" lmao :))))

Yes, I’d say so. The back buttons will be extremely useful in games where you have to constantly jump or input something that normally would require you to take your thumb off the right stick. I use only 1 back button currently to spam arrows… If you get stick drift frequently on regular controllers the edge will be an investment.. only $20 for new stick modules

Dude is a monster. Mad pressure on the berserkers and in these fights you can only do so much and therefor some combos and attack combinations are insane with this timing. Gameplay is almost perfection. There is not much room for improvement.

Leave it to smvr to make an epic return. Been watching your RE videos in anticipation for 4. Replayed them myself, they were a lot of fun. Quick question, although I guess it's maybe to make it harder for yourself, but why did you use sigil arrows when Freya says early on with your first Zerk, encounter that they don't work on them. A hint of sorts to tell you, hey use sonic. Also your gameplay seems like this game was made for you. All the little cool tricks like rage cancel to heal and deal damage. The parry projectile with the chains, the sidestep of red circles like it's nothing.

I know that if you miss the zerk and hit the ice barrier she says “Sigil arrows don’t work here” - this is definitely a bug as her voice is in regular tone 🤔 Honestly, stun arrows might’ve been optimal but inflicting status build up and using vaporise/extinguish frost is more satisfying🫡

​@@SmvR I think so. Now that you said that, I never hit the barriers with them. and I have heard that regular non combat tone in some puzzles. Can't know for sure unless I ask some combat devs. But it makes sense, they are green ish, sound arrows apply stun faster, and I've had heard variations of that line with both Freya and Atreus when I fought them. Granted I've only played the game once. Hardest difficulty to get the platinum, now I wait for NG+. I too tried sigil cause I had elemental synergies going off once you apply full Sigil status on them. But it was a clear cut that stun and subsequently damage was faster when I used sonic over them. Same can't be said about Gna, you can melt her with sigils and some silly builds involving luck some berserker pieces among other things.
