God of War Ragnarok - Boss #14 Nidhogg Boss Fight (No Damage Taken) on Give Me God of War Difficulty (Max Difficulty / Hardest Difficulty) / How To Beat Nidhogg Boss Fight No Damage No Hit Guide GMGOW. Just a quick video showing the fourteenth boss from the newly released God of War Ragnarok on GMGOW difficulty, taking no damage. Thanks to PlayStation for providing me with a review copy of this game. Details below.
Definitely a spectacle fight. While it's not the most difficult, the design and mechanics were very enjoyable. I also wasn't expecting the last two phases of the boss (the last 20 percent or so and the final phase transition), so I played those a little more carefully here.
Delayed this one yet ago, so I'm completely easing up the self-imposed restrictions of spoilers at this point. I still won't post key moments purely to spoil the story of the game, but going forward as I intentionally slowed the pace on uploads, for boss fights I'm going to be keeping names and pictures in the videos from here on out. The game has been out for both long enough, and I've been cautious of spoilers from the beginning. So at this stage if people don't want to be spoiled, it's not up to me anymore.
I plan to post all of the bosses on Give Me God of War difficulty with no damage taken. I'll also post any helpful guides to puzzles, locations and whatever else.

They tried to make Odin sympathetic here and there but this degree of his pettiness against Freya really sold it. She had little chance of even making it to Vanaheim, he placed the spell in her own birthhouse and tricked a powerful, primordial being to guard it, who's death would endanger the balance of the realms. The chance of her making it through all that, with or without help were almost non-existent.

Just did this boss on No Mercy. It kicked my ass and the only reason I got through it was due to the weird boss checkpoint system which annoys me. Why is it possible to turn that off for the mini bosses but not the main ones?

I tried this fight like 6 times before I saw you could block the barrage of rocks he spits out. Had I realized that I could’ve beat him like first or second try

Been doing all bosses on GMGOW no damage as well, been super fun learning every pattern and trying different strategies and combos. I don’t get how anybody can play this game on anything less than GMGOW, you are just robbing yourself of such a fun combat system when every fight is over in 5 seconds, and you don’t get to experience the intensity of some these boss fights and enemy encounters.

Honestly playing on Give Me No Mercy has been giving me that same satisfaction, but I do plan to try it on GMGOW when I finish the game. The game's been giving me the challenge I wanted from a sequel on GMNM as is so I can imagine GMGOW is the ultimate challenge

@bluehawk56 it means " Give Me God Of War". it's the highest difficulty.

I play the game on balance dificulty and it did not lasted 5 seconds. Maybe 15-20 minutes or so. Some of us have jobs and other things to do. No time to spend hours upon hours to learn a boss fight. So that is why we dont play on the highest difficulty on the first playthrough.
