If you notice while fighting Tyr, he tells you the different types of weapons that he collected during his travels to other countries. You can see him holding a shield and a spear came from Greece, the sickles from Egypt, the big club from Mexico (Aztec) and the katana from the land of the rising sun Japan. I hope it’s a hint for future gow games

Something u should've notice is Tyr in each of these battles, he used weapons from different mythologies: first, he used his signature Norse spear & shield, second an Aztec weapon, third two Egyptian swords and finally a Japanese katana. Even whenever Kratos & Tyr are about to fight, the music responds to when he reveals the weapons

This game is an explanation of what it means to prepare yourself into facing your younger self and Forgiving him....embracing pain, your failures, mistakes, wrong paths, wrong beliefs from that early moment and on......This was such an Outstanding Game!!! This ending was everything.. Since the start of God of War(2018), original fans were met with a Kratos who was a completely different fans from what we knew him to be. Throughout the two games we watched him shun his past with regret and an inability to accept the things he'd done. But instead of understanding his flaws, he punished himself. This is the first time we ever see him actually confront his past sins instead of running away from them. He forgives himself and knows while he was what he was, there was always more to him than just the monster everyone else saw him as. Its amazing to see Kratos finally have embrace who he was and who he is now to become more than just a God of War, but a God of Hope. Santa Monica knocked it out the ball park with this one. Perfect ending.

Since you've beaten Valhalla, you should know that you've also unlocked the classic Kratos skin. When your choosing your appearance, you can hit the right stick to switch to classic Kratos. It only works in Valhalla and NG+ so enjoy!

Not only was this DLC a great wrap-up for Kratos' story, it's an all around fan service. The blade of Olympus, Helios + Original VA, classic enemies from Greece, etc. Imo, It speaks volumes that SMS went through the effort to make such a banger DLC for FREE when they honestly could've just left it where it was. I hope this series isn't done, but I wouldn't be upset if it was.

This is the type of dlc that we want, I would’ve wish that young kratos would have talked back and say something to present kratos. Maybe something like “this is what I become in the future, this is my destiny” or maybe even something like “ I did nothing wrong, I will have my revenge for what they did to me and I will avenge my family. They all deserve to die by my hands!” And then present kratos goes in to the line of “you are a fool, but you are also me, we must be better!” But I still enjoy everything this dlc had to offer.

My biggest game dream is a full remake of the original trilogy, I don't think they'll do it because they've created a whole new image for Kratos now. They seem to want to separate him from the much more brutal original Kratos. Even in this it's spent constantly pointing out how horrible the old Kratos was, which is definitely accurate lol but he was badass as well and fun to play. Hopefully they remake them but I doubt it.
