Explainations : A. God of War Ascension 1. Blades of Chaos = A Twin Blade crafted by Ares in the Deep of Underworld. The Blades chained upon Kratos, as a proof of his Loyalty. The Blades became his primary weapon from there on. 2. Fire of Ares = A Portion of Ares's Magics. Equip Kratos with the power to burn his enemies and Cause Explosions. 3. Ice of Poseidon = A Portion of Poseidon's power. Equip Kratos with the power of Ice to freeze up his Enemy. 4. Lightning of Zeus = A Portion of Zeus's Power. Equip Kratos with the power over Thunderstrikes. 5. Soul of Hades = A Portion of Hades's Abilities. Equip Kratos with the power of the Dead and summons spirits to vaporize his enemies. 6. The Amulet of Uroboros = Gain after killing Castor and Pollux. The Amulet equips with the power over time. Allow Kratos to Decay and Heal the object. 7. Oath Stone of Orkos = Given to him by Orkos. Allow Kratos to create a Black Clone of Himself to aid him solving puzzle or fight. 8. Eyes of Truth = The Eyes of the Oracle Aletheia. Allow Kratos to destroy the Illusions and Barriers created by the Furies. 9. World Weapons : Kratos can disaram Enemy out of their weapons and use it against them. He can also discard it to stun the enemy. The weapons include Swords, Spears, Maces, Shields, and Slings. B. Chain of Olympus : 1. The Efreet = Gain after killing the Persian King. Allow Kratos to summon a Fire Djinn that Punch the Grounds and deal fire Damage. 2. Primordial Fire = A Fire use by Helios. Allow Kratos to solve any puzzle in the Cave of Olympus. 3. Sun Shield = A Shield wielded by Sun God Helios. The Shield allow Kratos to reflect any attacks. 4. Triton's Lance = A Lance belonge dto Triton God. Allow Kratos to breath when swim and Dive under the Water 5. Gauntlet of Zeus = Founded in Tartarus, a Weapon used by Zeus to chained the Titans. A large Gauntlet that allow Kratos to deal powerful Damage. 6. Light of Dawn = A Magic from Eos. Allow Kratos to shoot spheres of Energy. 7. Charon's Wrath = Using Charon's Mask allow Kratos to shoot Green Ravenous Flame toward his enemies. C. God Of War 1 : 1. Poseidon's Rage = Given by Poseidon, allow Kratos to cast a Powerful Electricity Streak that Blast his enemies. 2. Medusa's Gaze = Given by Aphrodite after killing Medusa. Allow Kratos to turn his enemies into Stones. 3. Zeus's Fury = A Magic given by Zeus. Allow Kratos to fire lightning Bolt from his Hands. 4. Rage of the Gods = Allow Kratos to deal more damage to his enemies. 5. Blade of Artemis = Given by Artemis, allow Kratos to deal more Damage. 6. Poseidon's Trident = Allow Kratos to swim underwater without Drowning. 7. Army of Hades = Given by Hades. The Magic allow Kratos to summon the Spirit of the Underworld. 8. Blade of the Gods = A bridge between Athen and Suicide Bluff. Kratos use it to kill Ares. 9. Blades of Athena = A Replacement for Blades of Chaos. Given by Athena as his weapon as a God of War. 10. Pandora's Box = A box created by Hephaesthus to contain the Evil from the Great War. Kratos seeks it to gain the power to kill Ares. However, the evil of the box was also escape from the box and infected the Olympians. Resulting they became the Enemy in later game. D. Ghost of Sparta : 1. Eye of Atlantis = An artifact picked by Kratos. Allow him toshoot a powerful Magical Lightning toward his enemies. 2. Thera's Bane = Imbued the Blades of Athena with Thera's power. Allow it to deal more Fire Damages. 3. Scourge of Erinys = Gain after killing Erinys. Allow Kratos to summon aVoid Sphere that suck out the Orbs and instantly kill the enemies. 4. Horn of Boreas = A horn of the North Wind Boreas. Allow Kratos to freeze his enemies. 5. Arms of Sparta = A Spear and Shield wielded by Kratos when he is a Child. Allow him to defend fromenemy attacks and Shootout his spear rapidly. E. God of War II : 1. Blade of Olympus = Crafted by Zeus to end the Great War. Give to Kratos to suck out his Godly Hood to destroy the Colossus. 2. Typhon's Bane = A Magical Bow gained from Typhon's Eye. Allow him to shoot an Arrow-shaped air. 3. Rage of the Titans = Gained after Prometheus fall into the Fire. Allow Kratos to deal more damage. 4. Cronus's Rage = Given by Cronus. Allow Kratos to shoot the Lightning Orb that Strike his enemies. 5. Barbarian Hammer = Gained from Alrik. Allow Kratos to summon the Spirits of the Underworld and deal Heavy Damaged. 6. Head of Euryale = Gained from Euryale. Similar with Medusa's Gaze allow him to turn his enemies into stones. 7. Spear of Destiny = Gaine dfrom Dark Rider. Allow him to fire Piercing Projectiles and Stabbing attacks. 8. Icarus's Wings = Took from Icarus. Allow him to Glide for a Short Time. 9. Amulet of Fates = Allow Kratos to slow down a Time whenever he near the Fate's statues. 10. Golden Fleece = Gained after Killing Mole Cerberus. Allow Kratos to reflect many attacks. 11. Atlas Quake = Given by Atlas. Allow him to summon an Eartquake that Smite his enemies. F. God of War III 1. Blades of Exile = Given by Athena. Allow Kratos to summon a Phalanx to defeat his enemies. 2. Bow of Apollo = Gained after Killing Peirithous. Allow Kratos to shoot out an Arrow with Fiery Powers. 3. Blade of Olympus = Gained in the Middle of Journey when it's Fall. 4. Rage of Sparta = Allow Kratos to imbued the Blade of Olympus with powerful attacks. 5. Claw of Hades = Gained from Hades. Allow Kratos to summon the Souls of the Dead to aid him. 6. Head of Helios = Gained after beheading Helios. Allow Kratos to find hidden Path and Cause a stun attacks. 7. Boots of Hermes = FGained after Killing Hermes. Allow Kratos to walk at High Speed and even Walk through Walls. 8. Nemean Cestus = Gained from Hercules. Allow Kratos to destroy the Onyx's Shields. 9. Nemesis Whips = Given by Hephaestus. Allow him to deal many Electrical Damage and light up the Passage. G. God of War (2018) 1. Leviathan Axe = Belongs to Faye and given to Kratos as Mommento. The Axe can deal Frost Damage and Throwable. 2. Spartan Rage = The power hidden inside Kratos. Allow him to deal heavy damage to his enemies. 3. Guardian Shield = Allow Kratos to protect incoming Attacks. 4. Blades of Chaos = Mommento from his Greek advemtures. Allow Kratos to deal Burn Damage. H. God of War: Ragnarok 1. Draupnir Spear : Created by Brok and Sindri by combining Draupnir, the ring that can replicate itself which were once used by Odin with the Spear and a Sounds of wind. Later Lady of the Forge use Kratos's Blood to fuel it and Brok blessing it. The Spear able to replicate itself and can be generated into infinite amount. It deal a great wind Magic which allow Kratos to either use it to thrust opponent or throw several copies at the enemy and make it explode. It also has power over wind which allow him to create Tornados.

I had honestly forgotten just how ridiculously OP some of the moves in the OG game were. Rage Of The Gods is absolutely insane.Don't get me wrong, I love Spartan Rage, but you're not absolutely decimating multiple big enemies in seconds with it. And Army Of Hades was basically a more powerful prototype of the Hilt Of Skofnung.

They kind of replaced it by the relics, also, they're RPG games, each weapon has a giant skill tree with countless options of customizatio. They're not as simple as a weapon with 5 combos and some skills, Sekiro had one of the best combats in gaming and only has one weapon, the amount of weapons doesn't define gameplay variety.

Yes, they should, but to be honest GOW 3 is overrated, the story is really badly written and some bossfights are so underwhelming, Baldur feels so much more epic and fun to face than punch bags like Hermes, Helios, and Hercules, the visuals and the combat are cool too. But GOW 1, 2, ghost of Sparta, and 2018 are still way better.
