Best game I have played. Period. The feel, sound and look of a viking-ish era with monsters and fantastic artwork is insane. Just goes to show what can be given to us in terms of single player experiences.. if developers get to do their thing in the time they need, without bothersome micro-transactions and short deadlines. I loved that the camera never cuts away.. it helps dragging me into the story.

I've been playing games for a long time, and meeting the world serpent is easily one of the best moments I've ever experienced in a game. It takes a lot for my jaw to hit the floor in a game, and that was one of those moments for me.

I love this kind of Videos of developers giving a behind the scene interview about how their Game was made, cause that's how you can see how much passion and love(or the opposite) the developers put into their Game. Also keep in mind that this was a completely new take on the franchise, and they basically had to rebuild the IP from scratch. Imagine with GoW 2, when they have already established the groundwork, and can put all their efforts into improving upon it. It will be on another level.

I spent an absurd amount of time throwing my axe into the far distance and calling it back purely for the sound effects. The echo, how long can could I make it swoosh back to me?, the different sounds of it knocking against or sticking into the environment and that incredibly satisfying 'Thunk!' as it returns to Kratos' big, weary hands. This game man.
