I dedicate this song to my son Matthew who I lost to Cancer in 2020 he was my youngest and my only son. He was only 32. The first time I heard this song I was in Junior High School in 1968. I immediately knew it was a special song. Thank you Brian Wilson for writing this song it has meant more to me than anybody will ever know. ☺️🙏🏻❤️💙😇💕🎶

I love Brian Wilson as much as the next guy , the early surf music , pet sounds , smile , I just got into Wild Honey , but let's be honest , I think Smile , was the last time Brian had his signature voice. This performance made me very sad, his intonation was off a lot and he gave those nice falsetto notes at the end , to a back up singer. He did a lot of damage to his voice in those two years and he will never regain that voice , but I still love and respect Brian Wilson for doing so much work to get healthy again, and the incredible work he has done in the past !
