I think daily, constantly, all the time, about wanting to die. I feel like I don’t belong here, like I will never belong here. I have this constant feeling like I want to go “home.” I have many blessings in my life, but I also have bipolar disorder and I have rarely if ever had a break from the depression for the last ten years. I have no partner, no kids, and very few friends. I’m not even very important to my family. I feel like I have no reason to be here and it’s so hard. I don’t understand why I have to go through this. I wish I could see the presence of god in my life, but I keep asking for help and I just don’t feel anything. I have faith in god, but I am sad and lonely. And I am afraid of growing old alone and mentally ill and dying lonely and afraid. I hope that all of us who are suffering find peace and support from god. I pray that god will find me before the darkness becomes too much.
