If you set the time for effects to 1000000, it is indefinite. No countdown. Also, 255 is the highest multiplier you can get

You can use /execute (player name) (command) to make a command automatically act as if it was done on their location, which is useful for summoning stuff on top of them and whatnot. The parenthesis are not used. So yes, you can summon on players using /execute (player name) summon (what you want) ~ ~ ~

If you ever need a command to summon a lightning bolt on someone (or do anything else on their coordinates), you can use the "/execute" command (not sure if there are versions where it doesn't exist, but it definitely works in 1.12.X +) Structure: •"/execute" •"at" (gets their coordinates) •"run" (don't worry about all the other suggestions that you can input) •the actual command like for example "summon lightning_bolt ~ ~ ~" (I left the "/" away on purpose) That should work :) Ok bye
