I love this book and was introduced to it in the 1990s. Our Lord Jesus couldn't have lied when He said 'If only we have faith...'. SPEAK healing to our body, His WORD is Life. I was given this book over 20 yrs ago..I read it a little and put it away somewhere..in 2017 a growth was found in my bowel..and news wasn't good..so while waiting for surgery one day this little prayer book came out of nowhere..and this time I read it from cover to cover..holy Spirit touched me deeply so for the next few mths waiting..I faithfully with authority of Jesus Name spoke these verses out loud over myself ...heading to surgery..I warned by the doctors to be prepared..after I came out of OP..I was told the growth had gone..Praise God..doctors were like well we don't know..but I told them I know I'm a Christian and I am healed in Jesus Name..so i ask for prayers for my dear friend who has been told she only has a few mths..I have given her this prayer book..now yes sometimes God does not always heal.. but my friend believes if she isn't healed she need not be afraid because she will be at peace with God.. please believe with me we are holding onto the promises..So be it..we love you love you Lord Amen🙏❤️🌟🕊️ Thank you so much for the audio vid..it will be a comfort to my friend if to tired to read..You are blessed 🌹

Mark, I love how you articulated your thoughts with such a humble heart. That is admirable. It is true that the writers of the Scriptures were speaking to specific people. And because of that, we should be careful not to take certain things out of context. Some things were written for everyone to apply and benefit from. Other things were written for us to learn from, but not to literally apply. Here are some Scriptures you can reference: 2 Tim. 3:16,17 (KJV) "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." Romans 15:4 (KJV) "For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope." I Corinthians 10:11 (NASB) 'Now these things happened to them as an example, and they were written for our instruction, upon whom the ends of the ages have come." Also, for anyone who wonders how they can know when, or if, to apply something, in a literal way, that knowledge only comes from God (Holy Spirit). It may come from "His" voice within your spirit, or it may come from reading His Word. The Bible describes itself as being "Alive and Powerful." This means that any Word or passage can immediately awaken your spirit and speak directly to you, in any moment of your life. It has the power to touch your soul, and drastically change your life forever. Hebrews 4:12 NLT "For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires." Soooo, it's probably obvious that I could go on forever, but I will leave you with this: James 1:5,6 (NKJV) "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind." I'd like to encourage you to read the full chapters of the Scriptures I've mentioned in this post. That way, you'll have them all "in context." :) Blessings to you!🙏🏼
