I became disabled at 29, I'm 43 now. I begged God to heal me for years. The nerve pain is excruciating. When I saw it just wasn't happening, I had to live with it and deal with it. It destroyed my life. I watched while everyone around me settled down, got married, lived their lives. Now that my life has already been destroyed and passed me by, I no longer care about being healed. It's too little too late at this point. If I find out I have cancer next month, because of what I have been through, it might not be a bad thing, I've been ready to leave since I can remember.

I am a born again believer and have believed in, trusted in and walked in God’s word for years. Yet, I have had many of a spirit filled, word believing, faith filled friend die from cancer. I have found that over the years, these kind of teachings confound me,. I find it has frustrated me, and even made me angry with my Lord. So I ask you do you have an answer for that? I am not trying to be rude or disrespectful in anyway. I have truly struggled to get back to having that kind of faith. I have a hard time being excited about reading the word of God anymore, or believing what it says to me. I attend church read my devotionals and pray, but I find I am not as close to the Lord as I once was. I don’t know what to believe anymore and I genuinely have questions.

Would love to speak with you in person. It is so hard. I too have watched many die. Prayed for people myself and they die. Cancer is demonic. It is not of God. Most people have more faith in cancer’s ability to kill than God’s desire/ability to heal. I think most believe God can heal but won’t. God has already made the decision to heal everyone. He is no respect or of persons. Keep seeking him. Get my healing scripture lists and print them out. Free on my website I don’t even ask for your name or email. Just download them. Pray in tongues!!!!!!! When jairus heard his daughter was dead Jesus said - even then “ don’t be afraid just have faith.” it is never over today is a new day. Jesus wants you to trust him again. Our faith is not in other’s experience but in his word.

Thank you for the words of encouragement, My mom is sick with dementia and I've been praying healing scriptures over her for years and she's still not healed, I feel I go in and out of faith from strong faith to little faith regarding her healing, yet He's healed me of little/major because no healing is little, but He healed me of a sore shoulder that had been sore for years. One night I couldn't sleep and I prayed for my shoulder and the pain went away in that moment and has not returned, I believe with the same faith and energy I've prayed for my mom and nothing has happened. I'd love to hear your opinion on why she's not healed because I believe the Word is the same yesterday, today, and forever. I also know even the disciples struggled with healing and they walked with Christ in the natural. So I'm open to any additional thoughts.

The Lord heals EVERYONE. Healing is something you must believe you have and that the enemy is trying to take from you. You're ALREADY healed. Faith appropriates what Grace has made available. They should stand in faith regardless of what they see or feel in the natural. Don't think that you're healed only when you see. Walk by faith knowing it's done.

one part of the gospels have always puzzled me against this topic, the part where the lady came and begged for healing for her child and christ said I only came for the lost sheep of Israel, making it not only sound like he was not only already saying no but also claiming conclusiveness to a certain people. I came to that which was my own, but my own did not receive me, but to all who did receive me, this woman recognizes him as the son of David he, she recognizes him as the son of God with the Almighty power Jesus did not just say she had faith. He said she has great faith and he has never said this to anyone else except for the Centurion. Both were pagans. Both were Gentiles. He said great is your faith woman let it be done as you wish and her daughter was healed instantly.

With respect, in 2 Corinthians 12:7-9 Paul said this - "And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure. 8 Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. 9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Paul was not physically sick, but he was being continually harassed by people who were trying to disrupt his ministry. To interpret a "thorn in the flesh" as a physical sickness is misunderstanding what he means. It is like saying people were being a "pain in the neck", or as some would say " a pain in the butt", or that they are "sick of something". This does not mean they had a physical pain or sickness in their neck, or that a person was making them physically ill. Compare 2 Corinthians 12:7-9 with the whole of the entire New Testament, and to conclude that this passage is referring to physical sickness is simply incongruent. In Acts 28 it is recorded that Paul healed every sick person in Malta. This is in line with what Jesus said about His followers in Mark 16:18 "they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover". Jesus did not say that some would recover, but that THEY, meaning the sick, would recover, which means that all of the sick will recover and be healed. I believe that the problem is not with God healing the sick, but it is with us not understand that we have been commissioned to heal the sick. We have a duty to heal the sick, and we need to learn about the authority and power that God has given us to do that. We need to learn how to administer healing to all who are unwell. Romans 10:17 "faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" Paul didn't need to be told, because he was a scholar of God's word, and was conversant with Isaiah 53:5. This is why he healed the sick wherever he went. See Acts 28:7-9 and 1 Corinthians 2:1-5, where Paul stated that he did not minister in words only, but in demonstrations of the Spirit and the power of God. Jesus said in Matthew 10:1 that He gave power to heal every sickness "Jesus called his twelve disciples together and gave them authority to cast out evil spirits and to heal every kind of disease and illness". See also Mark 16:18. Our problem is that we are looking to our experience rather than to God's Word, the Bible.

The thorn Paul was talking about was most likely a term to describe people who followed him around to harass him in his ministry. Today we would say they are "A pain in the neck", or "I am so sick of this", which does not mean that we are sick, but that we are tired of someone else's behavior. It is recorded that a woman in Acts 16 followed Paul and Silas for many days shouting as they tried to minster. Paul endured this for days. I believe he was used to it and had to put up with such difficulties wherever he went.

I have to disagree with you friend. Healing the sick was always at the forefront of Jesus's mind. Jesus could not physically get to every sick person, but when He returned to heaven, He gave instructions to His followers to continue His ministry of preaching the gospel and healing the sick, for every person who will receive it. Mark 16:15-18 "And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone...17 These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages. 18 .... There actually is one account of Jesus not healing and delivering people - Paul and his angel from Satan. Just another clue God left for us so we could identify the false apostle spoken of in revelation. Satan cannot cast out Satan. Another clue is Paul's condoning of eating food sacrificed to idols. Also rebuked in the book of revelation. God does not want us to be weak, he is not make strong in our weaknesses, he is a God who strengthens us. @AlanFreemanMinistries Without God's Authority, which comes through being ordained, then the will of God is not there because God will not contradict what he previously Authorised and Ordained. Jesus gave to the Apostles Authority, that Authority is passed on by the Apostles to the next generation and has occurred and still occurs to this day. God will not create or inspire another sect contradicting what He God already established.
