I disagree. The fear of failure isn’t always worse than the failure itself. Sometimes God allows us to feel that fear because we simply aren’t meant to do something. I had someone tell me when I said no to doing something “what will you say to God on the day of judgement? What have you done with the talents He has given you? God wants this.” It guilted me into doing the thing I felt fear and uneasy over and the consequence of me doing that was severe. We shouldn’t do things because of manipulative blanket words like this guy is preaching. Make damn sure you are in the will of God and not just out there being manipulated into doing things that were never meant for you. There is consequence and I’m sick of people using scripture to manipulate people into doing what they want them to do or even serving in areas they aren’t called to serve in!
