I can remember when I was a boy in 1975 at the age of 10 . I had a great Grandma that was Cherokee Indian. Dr Charles Stanley was on the Radio only back then . My grandma would turn his show on every day around noon . If I was there she would say set down be quiet and listen to Dr Charles Stanley and listen and learn something. I am always in Awe of his calling to fulfill the promises of God. I have been listening to him over 22 years. I started listening on cassettes I found at the thrift store. I use to go there every chance I got to see if someone had left more of his cassettes. I would listen to them at work, they carried me through difficult times in that place. I am retired and still listening to him on my phone and TV. Pastor Stanley I believe God is so pleased you took the time to preach the truth to all God's children. May you be blessed for the rest of your life Live you so much.

After thinking about how my life could’ve been so much smoother if I did what our Heavenly Father laid out for me, I thought of my 20 year old granddaughter. At every opportunity I mention prayer. My Granddaughter told me that she prayed (once) but nothing. It’s almost like she was wishing on a star rather than conversing with Jehovah. 37 years ago I took my 8 year old to church, I was in a dilemma and had searched many ways, many churches, the Bible, on and on. Only God knew what I was going through. I heard God speak to me to go and walk to the front in front of everyone and confess my belief in him and so I did at the end of the service as we were invited to come. I told my son to wait for me, I’d be right back. I got up, I walked to Gods face as if when I got there I would finally find him. However, an old man grabbed me and got me in a hold that threw my neck, he opened a door and threw me into a room. I sat in that room waiting but no one came. I looked out to find the only one left in the church was my little boy patiently waiting. I was shocked and I was downhearted as I walked out, never mentioning o anyone what had happened. Finally as I went through the week I decided I had made my decision and I was shocked that a God that loved everyone didn’t want me and didn’t want me in his church. That Friday night I told my son my dilemma and I read him his books, he went to sleep. I went out to a porch with a wall behind me and I still had many things going haywire and I put my head in my hands and cried out, “ Oh God”, all of a sudden a wind come from behind me where only the wall was there. I turned to look and that wind went through me and I recognized it, I was baptized in to the Holly Spirit. God loves us all, his ways are not man’s. He told me he’d hold me above it all and he has done just that. I could write a book about all the miracles he’s provided for me. I’m so grateful for that old man and his mistreatment, it was Gods plan. Glory to the Father. Amen.
