My mother spent her life afraid of death and always said she wanted to die peacefully in her sleep, when that time comes. She got dementia and was in a nursing home. Eventually, she just stopped eating and hospice care came. She died peacefully in her sleep. Everyone has a set time to be born and a set time to die.
