Your analogies are spot-on! The ladder was a great way to demonstrate that WE have a role to play in our future. We can't just sit back and wait for God to move, like just holding on to His word isn't enough. There's a reason we call it a LEAP of faith because most of the time we don't have ALL the details we need to make that critical decision. True faith is like headlights on a car at night.
