@@crystallawson2557 thank you… i really need to believe that because im dealing with alot. I’m at work right now and I’m crying on my lunch break. I’m at my lowest right now…. I’m tired of my self hate & rejection. I want it to stop now. I hate waking up feeling like the ugliest, unattractive thing ever. I’m halfway 30 and I’ve never had a relationship with a man. I get compliments and everything but I don’t believe them or its not from someone I want. I’ve dealt with abuse as a child, and even as an adult from my mother. My mom brutally beat me up almost 3 years ago and I haven’t spoken to her since. My father abandoned me when I was seven and two years ago I tried to reconnect with him and he rejected me and his mother and sister treated me like I wasn’t even their family. My relationship with my parents has made me feel like something is wrong with me and that I’m incapable of love or having a relationship. Most women my age go out and socialize or they keep themselves up and I don’t. I just wake up, go to work and go back home and just constantly obsess over my looks, how no one wants me, and how I’m never going to be happy. I pray every day that I do find love and hopefully get married and have a family but I know that I need to love myself before that and that’s very hard for me to do. It’s very important to have both parents in your life, especially good parents, because it really affects you in your adulthood. I will literally record myself over and over and constantly say how ugly I look. I know it sounds crazy but it’s a mental thing that I’m dealing with. If God blesses me to have kids, I could never treat him the way I’ve been treated. It’s painful to wake up every day wishing you could disappear. I keep having dark thoughts of committing suicide because I feel like I have no purpose to be here. I wanna be able to look in the mirror in love what I see, be confident, and attract a good man. I definitely want to be successful as well, I just don’t have any motivation because I can’t see myself the way other people see me. I just really don’t know what to do anymore so I’m asking for prayer. I just started back therapy so I’m going to keep going but I really want to overcome this because I can’t keep waking up every day hating myself & my life. I’ve started isolating myself from people at my job, and I come off as awkward, and I could feel the awkward tension. I want to be able to talk to people without them thinking that they see the ugly things that I see about myself.

The way to beat depression is to get up everyday and do the hard things that make you uncomfortable. Challenge yourself to create discipline. Get outside. Sun on your face. There are lots of things to do to get yourself out of your head. Praise God, pray to him. Thank him for whatever he has given to you. He IS the King. He will anoint you. The Kingdom of God IS inside of you. Rejoice my friend as depression does not reside IN you, but outside of you. Unseen hands are working ❤
