Last month I passed my eighteenth year at my job (I'm an evening laundry aide for a nursing home). I spend most of my shift working alone in the laundry room. I think about things, I sing (I perform), I pray, tell myself stories and poems. One evening I was folding (that's mostly what I do), I was thinking about a film I'd seen on PBS about the universe, everything from the smallest subatomic particles we know, up to the biggest structures, as we currently understand them ("You are here" is a tiny speck that's the supercluster that our galaxy is in), and I was aware that the Creator of all that wants a relationship with us. I was marveling at this, and praising God, and it was as though the wall in front of me disappeared and instead I saw the vastness of space as shown in the film. I knew that even this was not even a tiny fraction of all that He had made. My hands still folded, but my spirit was in deep obeisance, worshipping God, until slowly the impression faded and the wall was there instead. That was at least five years ago, but it might as well have been yesterday.

Learned this is bible summer camp as a kid😊. I've been around drug addicts all my life and it is a miracle in itself you didn't go through withdraw. Thankful for this testimony!!

Dear sister, Jesus is establishing His kingdom in our lives. And we are getting nearer to His return. I know the most popular teaching on the end times, is that the Church will be raptured before the tribulation. But there is not one verse that clearly teaches this. And if we look at Matthew 24, we see that Jesus says that the rapture happens *after* the tribulation, at His return. So please prepare yourself that we - just like Christians around the World - will go through a time of trouble in the end times. And we need to prepare our hearts to stand for Jesus. But don't be afraid. Jesus has promised to never leave or forsake us.

I have been off of the intravenous drug use for 8 years, off of Marijuana for a year, and I've been born again for a year and a half. The testimony of Don was so very special. I loved his example of being like Humpty Dumpty “but God had the power to fix me! 😂I laughed so hard when he went to church for the first time and looked at the songs written in 1800 and thought wow these songs are really old , but then when he saw one written in 1902 he thought‘….”now here’s a new one’ He did a great job of explaining the brokeness of being on Satans path. He was amazing and I loved his story. I was saved in 1971 so I could relate to the times and the lifestyle. I’m so glad he preaches and teaches sharing his God-given light!God blessed him with an education because He knew that Don would use it for His glory. Yes, the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord!
