I agree but just a pinch over God told David DON’T build a house for the ark, his son Solomon would and to give all of his resources to his son to build the temple. So SOME have a pass to continue ( Solomon) but SOME really do need to just rest and bless (empower) (David) those around to continue. Some that need rest, the enemy is your need to control everything and external validation. God told David He didn’t need a house for His ark (good suggestion but doing the most out of ego). You need to learn SURRENDER (like David had to surrender his vision to his son ACCORDING TO GOD’S REDIRECTION). The job will get done but NOT by you. And that’s ok. Don’t be selfish with God’s glory. Its not about YOU its literally about GOD. Take your hand off of things that God just wants to flow THRU YOU to someone else. Maybe a teacher or investor to the PERSON who is giving you rest by doing the assignment. And if you are the receiver of this mantle just know David gave ALL THE MONEY, WORKERS, AND MATERIALS WITH JOY to Solomon and was happy for Solomon, not jealous nor bitter. So the one who IS supposed to do the work, God already instructed the physical requirements to come with ease and in abundance. But as we learn from Solomon… KEEP YOUR SPIRIT IN CHRIST!!! Dont let these worldly objectives be ur stumbling block into heaven. And actually DO THE ASSIGNMENT. All those resources are not meant for you to eat and blow up and waste. Don’t re-allocate tax payer dollars FOR THE CITY to your personal pockets. Resources aint the problem. Heart posture, trustworthiness, and obedience is what really matters. People can give more when they see you do right with a little bit or what you already have.
