Stephen, it's not your faith, it's Papa God's promises, just believe in his promises, not your faith. By believing what HE says, is seen by God as faith. Seriously! Let this sink in. Relying on our own faith is not right teaching. You walk by faith(believing) not by feelings. Blessings

I've been praying for a job for 6 years. Recently I asked a pastor for help and he refused to help. He is friends with the CEO of a big company. This just made me feel abandoned and rejected.

Yes. I've applied for more than 8,000 jobs, went to at least 20 job events. I have two masters degree and I am fluent in 5 languages. Nothing hurts more than asking help for your Christian friends and don't get any help.

airplane800 im terribly sorry to hear of ur situation. We have been in a similar space for several years. May I encourage u. Take ur focus off what people can do for u. Jesus is ur provider all by himself. It is His eord that is true. Not the words of people. So dont hope in anyone else but Jesus. Grab a hold of every promise pertaining to His provision for u and meditate on them day n night. Believe that God is For u! We have had to do all the above and it has produduced the most amazing results but the most significant of these has been a heart of rest.

Meditate on God’s word repeat it aloud everyday all day long thank God for your job . Don’t be hurt it’s best for God to provide the job so He alone gets the glory!!! Keep fighting the good fight I know when you’ve been praying and sowing and declaring God for exceeds my expectations

@airplane800 psalm 121 says our help comes from the Lord and trust Him to open the right door for you. Also don’t look to people for help. Some of our fellow Christians are willing to help but unfortunately that’s not always the case so our faith should only be in Jesus.
